If You Had To Choose One Restaurant

My wife and I are leaving for WDW February 2! I have made one reservation at Jiko. I was curious if you had to choose one place to eat while there what are some choices of those on this board? We have the Dream Maker Silver Plan so we will use the wishes for our meals. Any favorite spots that you cannot pass up when you go? Thanks!

Jiko is a good choice. It is a little differnt, but they have wonderful food and great atmosphere. If you like seafood, try the Munkfish. It tastes like lobster, only better. It is their specialty.

I have four or five restaurants that I just love, but since you are limiting it to one, that I consider a can't miss, it would be Spoodles. While it isn't real fancy, they have great food. Flying Fish and Artist's Point are a close second and third.

Well, BMAN...depends on how many points you want to use for a meal. This was my BIG challenge when deciding between the silver and gold plans!

For one point I would choose....Tony's Town Square or Spoodles

For two points, I would choose...Artist Point or Yachtsman Steakhouse

I would have to say 'Ohana is the one place I have to eat at when we go. The grilled shrimp is to die for!

I have to agree with Tigger Lover and DisneyTeacher...O'hana is awesome (all you can eat shrimp, turkey, steak, and pork. Also, all you can eat polynesian style appetisers, and pinapple and carmel sauce for dessert!! Ymmmmmm!) Kids have coconut races and hula-hoop contests during your meal, fun for the kids and fun for the adults to watch!!

Have a wonderful trip!

Can't we do one for each meal?? Sheesh, you make this hard!! :D :D

Oh well, since I can *never* make up my mind, here they are for me:

Breakfast: Crystal Palace
Lunch: Restaurant Makarresh
Dinner: 50's Prime Time Cafe

Subject to change, of course...

These are my choices without kids... with kids I would natrually choose character meals!
Breakfast: Kona Cafe at the Polynesian (Tonga toast!) Easy to hop on the monorail to MK after a yummy breakfast!
Lunch: Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney
Dinner: Ohanas at Polynesian

If you made me pick only one of these... I guess it would be Ohanas for dinner!

The first place that came to my mind was Jikos when I read the thread title, so there you go... My entire family fell in Love with this place, it is very outstanding. The price is high, but who cares if you want a fantastic Dining Experience were Dress is not a requirement (very relaxed, but gourmet). The Desert Sampler should not be passed up (extremely unique).

I have also heard many good things from Ohanas and Citricos (??), but can only speak first hand for Jikos.

Definitely try this place. My nephew had a Sea Bass, I had a Herb Chicken, my wife had the Monkfish, and my son (18 months) got White Cheddar Macaroni that was amazing. We also got an Olive and Cheese Flatbread for an appetizer that was so wonderful, I could have ate it for a meal by itself. You won't be disappointed, if you are blame Mickey. :p :laugh :D :nervous

There are so many places I still want to try, but right now my #1 would be Artist Point.

I'm also fond of 'Ohanas, Cape May, Akershus, and Marrakesh...

My favorite had to be 50's Primetime cafe at MGM. The pot roast will melt in your mouth!

If you had the choice of seeing either the Poly Luau or the Hoop De Doo, I would choose one of those first if you have never seen them.

Akershus is the buffet in Norway at EPCOT that now has a character Breakfast in the mornings, and I think Marrakesh is the Restaurant in Morrocco in EPCOT with the Belly Dancers.
