Re: Crystal Palace -- breakfast, lunch or dinner???

My DH, DD (5 yr old) and I LOVE the Crystal Palace!!! For us, it's a must-do every trip! We're not big breakfast eaters (usually have quick bite a hotel's food court) so we've never gone for breakfast there. But...we have gone for both lunch and dinner and have always loved it!! Also on a hot day it is a great place to go to after touring the park. I normally don't drink pink lemonade, but at the Crystal Palace on a hot day when you go in and take in the atmosphere and sit down to relax a bit - nothing is more refreshing than their pink lemonade!!! The character interaction is great too. Pooh and friends come around to the tables and they also do a parade around the restaurant with the kids! Very fun! Enjoy!

Re: Crystal Palace -- breakfast, lunch or dinner???

Okay, I'll be weird and recommend the CP lunch. We've started to do a late lunch on our last day when we have an evening flight. To me, it's the perfect blend of lunch stuff and dinner stuff. I'm also a big fan of the CP dinner; they always have several items that I wouldn't normally expect on a Disney buffet - I can recall curried mussels once for instance. To me, breakfast buffets at WDW are always good... but they are very similar to each other.

I have only done lunch there and we really enjoyed it. My DD loved the "kids only" buffet and of course Pooh and friends !

Thanks!!! For all of you who voted for dinner (that's what we finally decided on)...what time is the best to go??? We wanted to go so that we could be done and maybe do a little window shopping before the fireworks. This will be our last night and wanted to spend it in the MK before heading home the next day. I made the PS for 6:10pm...does this sound like an "ok" time?? They had a 5:10pm avail also but, I was afraid my 6 year old would want to do the tea cups after dinner (uh-oh!) . I opted for the 6:10 and thought we could get there early, ride a few rides and then head to dinner, enjoy a leisurely meal, then do a little shopping and watch the fireworks. Does this sound like a reasonable plan?????? I didn't check to see if they had anything later but I could always call back!!

Sounds like a good plan. What time are the parade and Wishes that night? Mainstreet will get crowded before the parade and it might be hard to shop.

Your plan sounds very good (definately no teacups after dinner!!). It sounds like you've got it well in hand. Have a great time!

Re: Crystal Palace -- breakfast, lunch or dinner???

I have to pick breakfast. We have had dinner and breakfast and will only ever do breakfast again. The characters are great at both but we perfer the breakfast food. We did not enjoy the dinner food but like anywhere, it could have just been a bad day. However, WE LOVED LIBERTY TREE TAVERN and I can not wait to get back there.
