Tinker Bell & friends at 1900 Park Faire (unconfirmed, possibly a rumor)

Word is going around the Internet, on forums from various Disney websites such as WDWMagic and InterCOT, that 1900 Park Fare will change characters to include Tinker Belle, coming in the spring of 2006!

However, this is VERY unconfirmed, and very likely is just a rumor. Also, I have heard conflicting reports about which meal she will appear, having heard breakfast from one source, dinner from another.

Anyone heard about this? If so, do you have any first hand info?

I can't see how they would do tinkerbell...she's a fairy...tiny....really tiny, but I guess anything is possible at WDW. I would love to see her at a character meal, but like Dumbo, I don't think she is ever going to be at a meal. She takes her flight every night and I think that is the only chance of seeing her. I hope I eat my words and a new character meal is announced.

I could play her - because I'm so delicate and tiny.

I agree with you Dana, I think they like to keep Tinkerbell kind of unaccessable - it adds to the magic. But - who knows?

Hmmmm, tinkerbell is my favorite!!! ALTHOUGH, I kinda liked only seeing or hearing little glimpses of her after the fireworks, in her store in Fantasyland, etc. Tinkerbell to me has always been some kind of magical existential enigma

hehe. I think that's why I like her so much. It might actually freak me out to see a human-sized tink.

If it is true I would DEFINATELY make an ADR for it in August though. Keep us updated!!!!

I've seen a human sized Tinkerbell on a parade float during the Christmas parade on television, but if I remember correctly she's at Disneyland. She's a very tiny lady!!! llama...was it you??

Isn't there a Tinkerbell movie in the works? A character meal would compliment it, for sure. I do like the idea of Tink being elusive, but my DD would go NUTS if we had a chance to see her.

Lots of Disney characters are "larger than life." (At least I hope I never meet a 5' tall real mouse.

DD would want to see her fly like during the fireworks, so that may be a bit hard to deal with. I cant see it happening, though I am on the phone to make an ADR if they do do it.

I think WDW should start a character meal with obscure characters--you know the kind of characters where you'd have to ask "what film were they in?" For example, does anyone know who Stacy Casey is? No? Then she should be at that meal.
