Have any of you heard about the Safari Club at The Rainforest Cafe where you can get Priority Seating and discounts in their retail village??

The Rainforest Cafe Safari Club is well worth joining if you go to the restaurant more than twice a year. Actually, some people may think it's worth joining even if you only visit the restaurant once! It costs $10.00 to join and you'll receive a membership card and at least two $'s of coupons annually. Usually, you receive a coupon for $5.00 off your next purchase around your birthday and around your anniversary. Occasionally, you'll receive a coupon for a free appetizer or something similar. You may only use one disount or money off coupon per visit. That's why I mentioned visiting the restaurant at least twice a year. I am not aware of the Club offering a discount in the retail store, but I may have just missed that. If you provide them with your email address, you'll occasionally receive bonuses via email, too. I've had my card for three years, I think. The card used to offer a discount at all RFCs located in other states from my home state, but that was discontinued more than a year ago. BTW, the priority seating is awesome. Last month I was at the RFC in Downtown Disney, LA, and when we walked up to the hostess sitting in the elephant, there was a man ahead of us who was told that the wait would be an hour. When it was my turn, I showed the hostess my card, and my group was seated in 5 minutes! I've used the card in WDW, too, and it helped with our seating, too, although I don't remember that the service was as quick.

We are Safari club members and I thik its well worth it!! Getting 10% off the food is great but also getting in quicker is really great!! :)

Can I get the Safari Club Card online? And Is there an age limit?

Rainforest Cafe was purchased about 18 months ago by Landry's Seafood, owner of Joe's Crab Shack, the Crab House and Landry's Seafood House. You can find there web site here:

Last time we were at Rainforest Cafe, they handed us a card as we walked in, and we could have signed up right there on the spot. I am assuming you can do the same thing at any rainforest.
