OK - I had such great answers to my last question, here's another one. This year we will be spending 4 nights at the Beach Club so we are going to take advantage of the walk to World Showcase and spend 3 afternoons and evenings there. I would like to sample food from each country, so I'd like to visit all of the counter service restaurants and try at least one thing. It could be anything - dessert, snack - whatever. Do you have any 'must eat' items from the counters/carts that I really should try? Also, is there an item on a full-service menu that you always order because it's just THAT GOOD? Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated as are graphic descriptions and possibly full-color photos!!! Can you tell that it's cold here, I'm 6 months away from Disney and I need your help!!!

Oh boy!!! I probably have something that is a favorite from nearly every pavillion!!!

Mexico: Fiesta Margerita (Tri-layered & flavored Margarita)

Norway: cherry danishes from the Kringla

Germany: my husband LOVES their sausage sandwiches with sauerkraut (fast service counter) I personally love the Biergarten's saurbrauten and spaetzle.

Japan: Saki Gori (especially when it's hot, they are these awesome flavored ices in big paper cones), and I LOVE Teppanyaki dining.

Morocco: I had a plate of couscous and a kabob their one time and it was SO GOOD! (I CANNOT remember if that was only during food & wine or not though)

France: Crepe stand with their chocolate sauce

UK: they used to have this berry and cream cup they sold on a cart, I am not sure if they only sell it seasonally but I know I don't see it everytime I go.

Anyway, those are all my small favorites!!! Ahhh, to be in the World Showcase RIGHT NOW!!!!

Oh those treats sound so good!! I think the UK thing was the cup of trifle from the cart near the R&C which was one of my favorite things, but I haven't been able to find it for quite a while now. It has been a few years since we've been able to spend a lot of time in World Showcase, so I just can't wait to get there and try this stuff. My hubby will definitely want the German food - he loves it. Thanks for your list - I'm going to have to print these ideas out so that I don't forget anything when I'm there.

I LOVE World Showcase food!!

The taco salad at the cantina in Mexico is really good, but it's meal-sized.

The eggrolls in China are great - they make a nice little snack.

The fish & chips inside Rose & Crown are AMAZING. It comes with peas too. I haven't tried them at the counter service place outside but I'm sure they're just as good there!

We enjoy the combination plate at the Cantina in Mexico;
I love the "Cream Horns with Cloudberries" at the Kringla Bakery, in Norway - and their coffee is wonderful;
Last November we tried the China counterservice for the first time and the Orange Chicken with Rice was so good!
The strudel in Germany is to die for;
Ditto the funnel cakes in USA;
Gelato in Italy (with a nice glass of wine)
The baklava in Morocco - YUM
Anything in the bakery in France - the cheese plate is a very nice light lunch - add a glass of wine - delicious
The fish 'n chips from the stand in the UK - nice, quick lunch
The Cheese and Beer Soup in Canada.

If I had to choose three sitdown restaurants in the WS they'd be:
1. LeCellier, Canada (best food)
2. San Angel Inn, Mexico (best atmosphere)
3. Restaurant Marrakesh (nicest servers)

Mexico, the Quesadillas and Tacos at Cantina de San Angel are wonderful!
Norway, Berry Tart from Barkery di Kriog
China, Egg Rolls
Italy, Chocolate Mousee from the little stand
Germany, Beirgarten is just yummy in general
Morroco, a Chicken Shawarma Platter from Tangerine Cafe
France, Chocolate Tart from the pastry place
Canada, never had anything from there but I hear Le Cellier is WONDERFUL
UK, Rose and Crown is excellent! However, Harry Ramsden's Fish and Chips is excellent!

I adore LeCellier. I love the atmosphere and the food and service are top-notch. It's not an everyday item, but one of my favortiews when there for the food and wine fesitval this year was the peroges (sp?) with onion and sour cream...

We order the moosehead beer cheese soup at Le Cellier every trip (sometimes twice!). I've also recently discovered the filet mignon with barbecue sauce at Le Cellier--fabulous!

I'm also a big fan of the fiesta margarita in Mexico--lime, kiwi, mango, and strawberry flavors layered and rimmed with sugar or salt (get the sugar!).

Ohhh ... food and WDW ... a wonderful combination!
I recently discovered a fondness for the bakery in Norway. The cloudberry cone and berry tart are great.

We usually have fish n chips and a beer in UK, grab a few chocolates in Italy and sample wine in Germany.

Now I'm hungry AND suffering PDD... thanks a lot!

I loved the cherry danishes in Norway! And the Rosa Regale wine in Italy is by far my favorite drink!

I am now contemplating a trip to Epcot tomorrow...

We always have to stop for some Harry Ramsens Fish and Chips.

Another treat we love is the flavored shaved ice they have at a cart in Japan.
