For Turkey Leg Lovers (Probably not Erin! LOL)

Alright, another turkey leg thread recently got posted, and I wanted to get an official poll going on behalf of the mighty, much-maligned turkey leg. Let me set this up for you: This leg is my life. I think about them, I get mad when I see someone thow away the bones with meat still on them! They have been the subject of television programs, they fit on the Atkins Diet, and they come with their own handle!

I love them. I almost sent a Velentine's Day card, but the legs don't have a mailing address.

Need I say more? (Before Erin finds this thread and tells the world that she thinks they are BLECH!...)

I personally think they are gross but DH eats them. I can't be a hater b/c I know SO many people love them but I just DO NOT like dark meat turkey at all. Add in the fact that they are extremely messy to eat and you have an equation that looks like this....

Wish + turkey leg= heck no!

Gotta love those Turkey legs. They taste like Smaked Ham. They are great if you are on a low carb diet. I definitely am a fan.

I'm with you, Wish. I don't knock 'em b/c so many people, including my hubby, LOVE them. But just the smell of them makes me ill.

They're pretty good. But I can go without them - not a necessity for every trip.

I'm a meat dork. If only I could find some decent chicken....

I can't go without one.

It's one of those must haves each trip to Disney. Right up there with an egg roll and a Pineapple Float from adventureland. Gosh, I love Disney snack foods.

I don't care for the BBQ saude they offer with them. To me, there's nothing better than that smoked ham taste.

I've seen people with them but never had one. The last time I was there I didn't see any at all.
