Dining Plan FAQ - Page 3

Anything under $4? That would be great! I hope that's true because it would make using hte plan so much easier for everyone.

I just reread the thread and a couple of people who are actually there now or who have just returned said that the CM's at the Magic Kingdom confirmed that it is parkwide there (the lady said that all of the treats at Mrs. Potts Cupboard are DP snacks and that Dole Whips are as well) and at the Studios it appears that the same is true. She said that pretty much any item that costs under $4 on any CS menu counts as a DP snack now - so instead of just the very limited choices that were available, you could get an order of fries or whatever else you want. If anyone at DC is at WDW now on the DP I would love more confirmation. This plan doesn't have a single drawback for us now - especially this year when it's free for the 5 of us!!!

That is so true! Even at $37.99 a day per person it's still a great deal. We have always budgeted about $50 a day per person and that hasn't always cover what we spent.

I have a question that has been bothering me for a while. I know you can use your "key to the world" as a charge card if specified at check in. Now, if I have the dining plan, eat somewhere, and hand them my card, can I just say "I'm going to charge this to my room" or some variation of that, so that particular meal will NOT be taken off my dining plan? Or can that even be done?

I would like to be able to choose which meals I use, and which ones I actually pay for, but I don't know how that would be done or if it could be done.

Thanks in advance for anyone who has an answer to this!

Question - We will be eating at Le Cellier's and I've looked at a sample menu / prices on another site. Will we be able to choose whatever appetizer, entree, dessert we want or are there some items that the Dining Plan doesn't cover?

Enjoy, you can order anything off the menu.

Thought it would be too good to really happen, but you never know.

And just to add about the snack credits. We didn't use the dining plan, but I did hear a CM say the under $4 rule and while checking out the food court at POP I noticed nacho cheese dip listed as a snack item.

I have a question. I am arriving Sept 28 and leaving October 8.(10 nights and 11 days total) Does that mean I get enough credits for 11 days or for the 10 nights i'll be there?????

You have 11 days to use 10 nights worth of credits. You will get:
- 10 Counter Service Meals
- 10 Table Service Meals
- 10 Snacks

You get your credits based on how many NIGHTS you are staying. You will get 10 credits per person.

Now that I'm back on a dining plan for this coming trip, I am noticing there are more than a few restaurants that used to participate prior to the MYW plans that aren't listed any more. Even House of Blues is gone.

I know! What a bummer-Fulton's Crab House isn't on it anymore either-it was last year, I'm pretty sure, but we didn't go there. This year we are planning on it, but we have to pay out of pocket.
