Tomorrowland Noodle Station recieves new menu

From www.wdwmagic.com :

The Tommorowland Noodle Terrace, which seems to be closed more than it's open, is set to reopen soon with a new menu. Traditional items, such as chicken strips and chicken Caesar salad, are set to join the noodle offerings. The opening date remains to be confirmed.

This is an interesting move, changing its menu less than a year after it first opened. I guess that not enough people liked to asian menu as much as they first thought guests would.

Yes, were talking about this earlier this month
It seems the Noodle Station hasn't been very busy these days.
Maybe the new menu will help.

Maybe the asian theme didn't go well with the kids hence the chicken fingers etc options. Kids can be picky eaters.

I was just thinking the same thing. I am not a pasta person so just the name keeps me away LOL.

I suspect it's also in a bad spot. It takes a little more effort to see it than most places do.

I agree with you Andrea. It's a little more out of the way, so you have to make an effort to walk by.

The new menu has started though and it looks pretty good. Haven't really been by the area lately to see if business has picked up, but hopefully things will.

Re: Tomorrowland Noodle Station recieves new menu

I worked there as CP back when it was Plaza Pavillion, and there was a period of almost two months where we were closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays of each week and shipped off to work at other locations in MK. I didn't entirely mind, just because I got to try different lands and different costumes. I loved Peco's Bill costume ...I hated the morale!

Anyhow. I think its sad and stupid that they changed the name and their menu. If someone wants asian noodles they'll go to Japan or China in EPCOT. Who wants noodles in Tomorrowland? I wish them the best with bringing back the chicken and the salads. I wish they'd bring back the breadsticks though...ho man, those were SO GOOD.

Location has alot to do with it always being slow there. We're totally backed into a corner, and people would ask me if they were in Tomorrowland or what. Like they couldn't tell from my horrid costume?

At least our claim to fame was that Tinkerbell lands on us!

That location has always been a weird restaurant location. I think they should forego the restaurant completely and put a NEW attraction there.

I agree with you. It's actually kind of depressing in there - and it can be really cold on a chilly day, with no sun and the wind off the water. It just NO FUN to eat there. Take a few steps and you can eat at the Plaza Restaurant, or the Bakery or Casey's - all better choices.

Re: Tomorrowland Noodle Station recieves new menu

I've never eaten there. And quite honestly... I've never noticed the place.

But seriously, like Screever said, just go to Japan or China. The food is bound to be better and more authentic.

Plus, what does Asian cuisine have to do with Tommorrowland? That's a strange combination to me...

That would actually free up a ton of space for a great new ride to go into the Timekeeper spot. But I don't know if that would really jam up all of the other restaurants in the MK.

So few people are eating there I don't think it would make a difference!

I shall cry myself to sleep at night.

I mean, it wasn't a GHOST TOWN. We got a fair bit of business when the guest count is high. And closer to the bottom tier of the eating area you have a great view of the castle. And its SHADED in the awful heat.

If they fill that in with a ride I'll be quite agitated. You'll all be sorry and...missing it! It was better before the noodles, I swear...

Awww - we didn't mean to make you cry! It has really good washrooms - they're always empty!
