Just Booked My Reservations

OK. I just got off the phone and booked my dinning plans. Here goes--April 26th-- 1900 Park Fare for dinner
April 27th-- Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner
April 28-- Lilo and Stitch for breakfast at ohannas
April 29-- Chef Mickeys for dinner
April 30-- I left open but I think I am gonna book the princess story book dinner because my girls would love to eat with the princesses.
I have the dinning plan which I have never used. If anyone has used it which I think some of you have can u please give me some input so I can have some feedback on this. Also any other suggestions for dinning please tell. Thanks All!!!

Re: Just Booked My Reservations

My only thought here is every meal is buffet-style. You'll really miss out on some great dining experiences going solely with character meals.

My suggestion--switch 'Ohana to dinner. My kids loved the limbo and dancing the hula. The food was fantastic. We didn't miss the characters (and Stitch is everywhere to meet at WDW).

I did not care for the food at Park Fare. It was okay, but not any better than a Golden Corrall. So maybe the Princess Story Book would be a better try.

Whispering Canyon Cafe was wonderful. Good food, great experience. Your kids will love the experience and you can order off a real menu.

Re: Just Booked My Reservations

Oh, and my kids are still talking about Teppanyaki. Again, no characters, but great food and a great experience.

Whispering Canyon is alot of fun - that would be a good choice.

Another fun place is the Rainforest Cafe...my kids always love to eat there.

Re: Just Booked My Reservations

I'm in awe!! I don't think I could handle that many character meals!! Every once in a while I need a nice, quiet, sit-down meal with really good food, but that's just me!

Liberty Tree Tavern is a great choice--one of my favorites!! I also like the idea of switching 'Ohana to dinner. Your kids will still have fun, but it's low-key enough to be a relaxing meal.

Re: Just Booked My Reservations

The characters at Liberty Tree Tavern will be the same ones you will meet at Chef Mickey's plus Mickey but both are great restaurants. 'Ohana for dinner is wonderful, no characters but your kids won't miss them.

Your choices are good, but I wouldn't do two character buffets in one day. Also,I second Cavey's opinion about the food at Park Faire.

Re: Just Booked My Reservations

Ohana is great! The food is served family style, and it is very good! The kids do different activites like coconut races and hula hoops. Teppanyaki is in Japan at Epcot-the cooking is done on the grill in front of you. The kids love it. The service was just so-so the last time we went, though.

Re: Just Booked My Reservations

Cavey makes a really good point.

O'Hannas is a great idea!

Maybe LeCellier for another real good meal choice, but no characters.

Re: Just Booked My Reservations

I second Cavey's opinion. If you want a fun experience for your kids but better quality food than you will get at the buffets (which are still good, don't get me wrong, but they are buffets), I would totally add Whispering Canyon to your list. It is so fun and the food is great! Plus the Wilderness Lodge is just a gorgeous place to visit.

You also mentioned that you are on the dining plan, so I think you will get more bang for your buck if you switch out one or two buffet style meals for a regular sit down restaurant.

Re: Just Booked My Reservations

I Have To Suggested Whispering Canyon Like The Last Two Post!! It's Really Good And You Get To Pick Off A Menu. Disney Buffets Are Good But Day After Day It Gets Alittle Old. And It's A Really Fun Place!
