Our PS Arrangements
Hi everyone! So, as most everyone who has read any of my posts know, our trip is coming up soon. Nineteen days! Hooray! I finalized all of our priority seating arrangements last night. They are as follows:
February 25 5:20 PM - 1900 Park Fare dinner with Cinderella, the Prince, the mice and Fairy Godmother February 26 12:00 PM - Teppan Yaki Dining March 2 8:30 AM - 1900 Park Fare breakfast with Mary Poppins et al. We wanted Chef Mickey's but there are 9 of us and it just isn't going to happen unless we go at 7:30 in the morning. NO WAY! March 2 6:45 PM - Yachtsman Steakhouse for the adults and then a night out at Pleasure Island. My husband saw a feature on the Travel Channel about the Yacht Club resort which detailed this restaurant and I thought that the bed was going to start floating because there was a lovely saliva accumulation happening as he drooled over the steak. Eek. March 3 8:10 AM - Reastaurant-o-Saurus breakfast with Donald, Mickey, Pluto & the Goof, (my husband's favourite). March 3 5:00 PM - O'hana March 4 6:30 PM - Mickey's Backyard BBQ. This is the first session for the BBQ for the season. Hopefully, given the time of year it won't be incredibly packed. So it would seem we have an awful lot of food coming our way. Good thing I've been at the gym steady for the past month and a half! Anyone else have similar priority seating arrangements? Anyone have comments about our choices? We'd love to hear!

YUM!
You are making me hungry! We are also scheduled for the dinner at 1900 Parkfare on March 12. We leave March 7 so you will have to try to get me a report on this meal! We had a tough time chosing our PS arrangements and we went with all meals geared toward our 2 year old:
March 8- 5:30 50's Prime Time March 9 - 11:45 Crystal Palace March 10 - 11:45 Rain Forest March 12 5:30 1900 Park Fare On March 11 we wil probably eat at Whispering Canyon and March 13 is up in the air for what ever (probably Cosmic Ray's for a burger!!) I too have been working out for awhile now trying to get ready for all the walking and all the food! Have a great time!:)

We've eaten at 'Ohanas, 1900 Park Fare B'fast, and Restraunt-o-saurus (or whatever it's called); good choices! The only one of the 3 we might not do again is 1900 Park Fare; the b'fast delicious, but it was a madhouse - even more than other character meals. Early March should be great though! This is our current plan: March 22 (Saturday): Artist Point (Dinner) 3/23: Boma (Dinner) 3/24: 50's Prime Time (Dinner) 3/25: Crystal Palace (Dinner) 3/26: Princess Storybook (B'fast); LeCellier (Dinner) 3/27: Chefs de France (Dinner) 3/28: Chef Mickey's (Dinner) 3/29: Whispering Canyon (B'fast) Basically we do Artist Point and Crystal Palace on every trip, and we did 50's around 6 years ago, but all of the other meals will be new to us...and I can't wait. Happy eating! Bruce

Hey Bruce...You'll love the Whispering Canyon Café for b'fast!
I posted the following on another topic regarding breakfast... If you're looking for fun and decent food, this is the place. This is the first place I ever ate breakfast at Disney and I guess maybe that's partly where my affection for it stems from. Our waiter was hilarious! There were 8 of us and when we all asked for water, he took our glasses and when he came back, he was carrying a HUGE clear bucket of ice water with lemon wedges floating around in it! He then tossed a pile of straws onto the table and said in a thick hick-ish accent, "When yer done with that, there's a crick out back!" I've never laughed so hard. Then my husband and his friend got creative and starting sticking straws together so that they had a straw long enough so that they wouldn't have to stand up to put their straw in the bucket to drink. They got about six put together and the waiter saw what he was doing. He brough another 20 or so straws and just threw them on the table. They landed everywhere! He was like "Ooooo yer so innovative! I woulda never thunk to do that!" He called over to another waiter "Hey! Lookey here! I got me a table of imagineers!"

Of the ones you listed, the only one I've done is Teppen Yaki and it is AWESOME!! We usually eat there for dinner every time we got to Epcot, but we're actually brancing out this time & trying something new! Anyway, the food is great, the service is so much fun, and it's neat to meet new people at your table. We're leaving in 9 days (yipee!), and though we're only squeezing 2 nights / 1 day before hitting the obligatory visits to the grandparents, these are our PS :
Feb. 16 - 6:20 PM - Cape May Cafe Clam Bake Feb. 17 - 8:00 AM - Ohana Character Breakfast Feb. 17 - 5:40 PM - Epcot - Le Cellier We're thinking of doing sushi at Matsunoma Lounge for lunch, but no PS for that. We'll eat breakfast at the All-Star Movie food court the AM for the 18th, then ::sniffle, sob:: we'll be on our way out!

Sounds great! My only tip would be that since you have a 5:00 PS for O'hana, you'll miss the entertainment/contests for the kids. Might ask Central Reservations what time it starts that night.

Nutcase...when you get to O'Hana, be sure to ask for a window seat. We had an early seating and they tried to seat us near the entrance...but, I quickly asked for a table by the window. The hostess moved us to the perfect location...a table with a sunset view of Cinderella Castle!
