Sample Dining Budget

I need help making a sample dining budget for three for four-days. The lunch for the first-day and the dinner for the forth-day will be off-property, probably fast food. I have a Disney Dining Experience card. I was thinking table-service for one meal, counter-service for the other, and breakfast at the Pop Century food court if we eat breakfast. I was thinking for the meals, have an entree, drink, and dessert and maybe split an appetizer. Thanks for any and all help!

Would it be cheaper to buy the food with my DDE card or get a dining plan? If I get a dining plan I also have to buy a Magic Your Way ticket for myself (I'm an AP but the other two are getting Magic Your Way tickets).

Re: Sample Dining Budget

It really depends on where you plan to eat. You can easily figure out the cost of your meals if you know where you plan to eat. This site has all the menus with prices: http://www.allearsnet.com/din/dining.htm Do the math and see what you will pay with the DDE card and see if it's much more than what you would pay for the dining plan plus a one day pass for you.

We have a DDE card and it basically took care of the tip for us. We tip 20% and the card saves 20% so it was even.

Re: Sample Dining Budget

We just got back, we brought bagels, danish, juice with us for breakfast and mostly buffet places for our sitdown meals and then just the odd soda or maybe a snack.. With the DDE I think we spent about 50 bucks a day for the two of us.
