Dining Plan Question
I posted this in the FAQ, but I haven't received an answer yet. So, I decided t start a new thread.
I have a question that has been bothering me for a while. I know you can use your "key to the world" as a charge card if specified at check in. Now, if I have the dining plan, eat somewhere, and hand them my card, can I just say "I'm going to charge this to my room" or some variation of that, so that particular meal will NOT be taken off my dining plan? Or can that even be done? I would like to be able to choose which meals I use, and which ones I actually pay for, but I don't know how that would be done or if it could be done. Thanks in advance for anyone who has an answer to this!

If you tell you server that you are charging the meal to your room that should be ok. Just check the receipt when you get it that it was charged so atleast they can rectifiy any mistakes. When you use your room key for the dining plan meals it will say on the receipt how many TS or CS or snacks that you have left.
You are supposed to tell your server when you are seated that you are on the dining plan. We didn't bother and it didn't cause us any problems.
