If you have to pay in full for Hoop De Doo when booking, how does it work when you are on the dining plan? I know its 2 table service meals on the dining plan, so do you tell them when you check in and they credit your credit card??

I think when you make the reservations you need to tell them that you are on the dining plan. They will still take your credit card,but only as a guarantee that you'll show up.

I think your credit card # is just taken to hold your reservation and to charge you if you're a no-show. So, I don't think you're actually "paid-in-full". I had to give a cc# for Fantasmic dining & Spirit of Aloha months ago, but nothing has come up on my bill. I'm assuming when we get there we tell them we're on the dining plan and then they'll just disregard the cc#.

You are both correct. When making the reservation, let them know you are on the dining plan. They will take your CC# as a guarantee, but will only charge it if you don't show up. You can change your mind later and pay for it if you decide not to use the dining plan for it.

Thanks for the info, that makes more sense. The reason I had asked it b/c I read this on allears.net:


"As of August 29, 2004, full payment will be required in full for the Hoop-Dee-Doo, Spirit of Aloha Show and Mickey's Backyard BBQ at the time of booking. As long as you cancel up to 48 hours in advance, you will receive a full refund"
