on the Boardwalk for our first meal (lunch) when we arrive on Thursday. We've heard mixed reviews about Spoodles. What are your thoughts? Is an ADR necessary for late lunch on Thurs.?

We've got all of our other meals planned and necessary ADR's. (Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana, Crystal Palace, H&V, Cape May (lunch and dinner -staying at Beach Club).

I haven't tried Spoodle but several people here really like it. If you have an idea of what time you'll be there an ADR doesn't hurt. I've found most restaurants are good about seating you early or even a little late if you have an ADR.

There are some great places in the BW/BC area. We like ESPN for a quick bite to eat and I've always wanted to try Big River but never seem to fit it in. Beaches and Cream is also a good lunch spot.

Spoodles is a nice restaurant. We've never had lunch there, just dinner. Good flatbreads. I think Beaches & Cream might be a more fun choice... but they don't take ADR's so you may have a bit of a wait. If you choose Spoodles and have an idea of what time you're there, I'd make an ADR just to be sure. Taking another direction, you can get good pizza from the Spoodles Window, a good sandwich at the Bakery or a hot dog from the HotDog Stand and just find a table on the Boardwalk, for a simple lunch.

Lots of good choices for you, depends on what you like. We love Spoodles. Beaches & Cream would be the choice for a fun lunch with the Boardwalk feel. You really can't go wrong with either.

While Spoodles has amazing food, unfortunately they are only open for breakfast and dinner, not lunch. So if you are looking for lunch, I would also agree that Beaches and Cream makes a great spot.

You shouldn't have a problem without an ADR for a late lunch at Spoodles.

ESPN is great for lunch and they don't take ADRs.

i'm drawing a blank on the name of one place on the boardwalk that's near spoodles. i think brewery is somewhere in the title. but, if you go to allearsnet.com, they'll have the menu posted and you can see what they have. we had lunch there a couple of times and enjoyed the food very much.
