PS new rules question

OK - so I was told that you can make all your reservations within 10 days at the 180 mark- I get that - but does that mean that everyone that makes their reservations for the 10 days ahead of us can book up CRT and at my 180 mark this will be gone? Or can I call 10 days prior to my 180 mark to lock in CRT for that day? Im confused!

From what I understand, they hold back some of the reservations so everyone has a chance. When you call on your first 180 day, try to get a CRT for later in your trip instead of the first day.

Unless you're talking about Christmas or Spring Break high weeks or the CRT, this shouldn't matter. I made reservations for summer last year inside 45 days with no problems at all.

Sorry, my bad, didn't notice your thread was mostly about CRT.

Remember the CRT lunch seems to fly "under the radar" and has the same characters! We like the lunch because it doesn't take up valuable morning touring time!

I called at the 180 mark and got my CRT ADR.

I think CRT has gotten easier to get with the increase in price. Some people like me (mom of a boy) who went just to eat in the castle won't go now that it costs $10 more than any other character breakfast.

Ohhh keep in mind that you have to guarantee your reservations with a credit card

the credit card does not bother me as I am warming it up with most of the trip (would be why Im not going till Feb- I have to pay it off by then and it will take that long!) As long as they hold a bunch of reservations that is fine with me!

Actually,you have to pay in full up front when you make the reservation unless you tell them you are on the dining plan and then they take your card number as a guarantee.

Exactly right, if you tell them you're on the DDP, they won't charge your card.

Well gee- now that will make it interesting if they really do release the packages in Sept- I dont have a pkg yet but I might - depending on what you change on me this year... UGH! Do they really have to make it this confusing?
