Kids Choices Stink

I've been a little disappointed that most of the kids' choices everywhere, for the most part, seem to be mac n cheese, hot dogs, or nuggets. One of my dds doesn't even like mac n cheese, and I don't want them eating this for a week. I notice some places offer kids grilled chicken. Does anyone know of any other healthy choices?

Also, when we go to a buffet, do kids (3-9) have to eat off the kids' side of the buffet or can they eat what they want? TIA! :)

Some WDW restaurants offer more choices for kids but they do seemed obsessed with M&C, nuggets and fries.

It's probably important to note if you're on the Dining Plan they REQUIRE age 3-9 to order off the children's menu if one is available. If I were using 'table service' credits with children in my group I'd make sure I ordered something my child would like to share.

I wouldn't hesitate to give a child in my party ANYthing off of the 'adult' buffet. Always. Absolutely. Mr. restaurant manager do you really wanna tell me my 6 year old can't have some carrots? I'm dead sure you'd never have a problem.

...and I've been know to cop some M&C from the 'short' buffet for myself...shhh...

The Plaza Restaurnat at MK also has some chioces other than nuggets and fries.

For kids menus, go to http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm#res. When a restaurant has a special kids menu, allears lists it there.

They can pick from any food in the buffet.

Kids can eat anything from the buffet! I know that my dd loves cheeseburgers and we were on the dining plan last year and no one ever said anything if i ordered a cheeseburger meal or something else for her from the counter service places. And when we went to table service meals they also had good choices for my kids!

I agree, I ate the childrens meals while I was at the park and they are pretty sad.
