Re: Multiple ADRs?

I don't think it's fair to do that. You are holding up a table. Pick a place.

Re: Multiple ADRs?

I agree with Dana. It isn't really fair to have multiple res for the same time because you are holding tables you will not be at, that is hard for customers and also it must mess up the flow for the rewstaurant as well.

Re: Multiple ADRs?

I never make enough ADRs to worry about that. I have had to cancel O'hana on three separate occasions, due to unforeseen circumstances. I get the feeling they've got me "blacklisted" on that one...

Re: Multiple ADRs?

Yeah, the only reason we had the opportunity to do that was because we were on the WAY there and we kept changing our mind the closer we got to WDW. We did cancel our others as soon as we finally settled on Tonys... it was a pain in the butt! LOL!

As long as you cancel and open up the reservation, it's all good. I just don't like when people do it for a hard to get place and hten never cancel. It holds up a table for someone else.

Re: Multiple ADRs?

Last trip we had two ADRs a few mins. apart. I thought they were a week apart! I had called to double check on my ADRs and I had nothing on one day, so checking the list the CM tells me I had a 12:30 at garden grill and a 12:45 at le celliar on the same day. She was able to move the GG to the other day. Soooo I guess they don't check that carefully about double booking. But as far as double booking on purpose, I don't think it's right.

Re: Multiple ADRs?

I have an ADR at CP for lunch and dinner on the same day. Since this will be our first time, we don't know how everything is going to work out. I have all intentions of canceling whichever one we don't use. Although, when I called to make the lunch reservation, my dinner reservation wasn't brought up. Also, just this morning I called back to change the time of the lunch reservation. The new time was created as a whole new ADR. And, I was asked for the original lunch reservation number after. I used the same name and phone number for all. So, that would lead me to assume that it isn't visible unless you state the reservation number.

Re: Multiple ADRs?

I'll admit that we've made multiple ADR's but have cancelled once we know for sure where we'll be. However, we also make a few extra towards teh end of the trip in case we don't get to ones we thought we would earlier in the trip. Once we know if we won't make some or won't need the ones at the end, we cancel. If that's seen as wrong, well, sorry, but with 2 toddlers you never know when they might just not feel like sitting down for dinner!! last time we wasted 4 TS credits because 2 days before we left the kids didn't feel like sitting down for dinner & we had no "back-up" plans.

Re: Multiple ADRs?

I wish people wouldn't make multiple ADRs for the same days/times... it's frustrating NOT to be able to get in to a place when you are trying to book 4months in advance--and they are all booked... You just know that a certain percentage of those bookings are for people with multiple ADRs...

I make all our ADRs in advance...and would've booked sooner but now you can book like six months in advance which I dind't know until I was 4 months out... I would've been on the phone sooner! (But then, at least I figure it out before 90 days which is when I USUALLY make our plans!).

I could not get into one of the restaurants (Le Cellier) for lunch or dinner for ANY dates during our stay! I am so bummed! (I will keep checking periodically)

Re: Multiple ADRs?

hi
speaking of multiple ADR's...how do you keep track of them all.
I have 5 seperate ADR's booked on 5 seperate days with more to come(aprox 10-12 adr's over 12 days) and have no idea on how to record the reservation #'s...times, places etc without going into paper overload...and having a minor melt down.
any suggestions would be great!

I've read a tip of storing the numbers on your cell phone. I would think most have a date/calender type thing to put in the number.

I just typed up the list in small print, printed out a copy for my DH and I to keep in our wallets.

Re: Multiple ADRs?

hi again
since we are coming from australia, we wont have our mobiles with us as they dont work on your network....bummer.
do we need the res. # when we walk in to the resturant??
would the hotel (POFQ) be able to print off our bookings for us if I forget to bring them over with me??
how about wake up calls every morning with that info?? Would they get too annoyed if I asked??
I dont have any idea how I am going to juggle these, and my 14 yr old cant find his shoes in the mornings, let alone tell me what we are doing that day
