Group reservations
Has anyone tried to get a group reservation/priority seating at any of the WDW restaurants, specificly a resort reataurant? I'm hoping to be able to get a reservation for a group of maybe 20-25. I'm wondering how it will go.

Yes, we did in December, party of 23, at Ohana's for 5:20. They have a large table seating 25, called the "King's Table."
One person guaranteed with credit card, and if someone did not show, then they would be charged $10 for that person. We in the group paid the $10 per person in advance to the group leader. That night, she handed back our $10 pp deposit. Ohana let us use separate checks for each person in the party - it was fantastic!

All group ressies are held with a credit card. We have never had a problem securing dining for a large group through group ressies. I would not want to take the chance of having several smaller seating ressies. You probably would not get seated at the same time because of how ps ressies work. And there is no way of tieing them together to alert the restaurant staff to the group until you get to the restaurant. So chance are, you will be scattered in the restaurant.
I would definitely go group ressie for 'Ohana or you won't get the long table where you can all sit together. |

What do they consider a "group" ?
We are traveling with 9 people in May and plan on making a few PS's so we can all eat together. Thanks!
