Call from Disney Dining

We are using the dining plan for next weeks trip. We have never made ADR's before, but figured dining would be very crowded because of the free dining plan. So, made 4 ADR's a couple of months ago. Yesterday, I received a message on my answering machine from WDW Dining stating that they see I have free dining, and would I like to make any ADR's? Should I be worried they mixed something up with my previously scheduled ones, or is this a standard procedure for them to call?

I guess it wouldn't hurt to call to confirm the ones you already have, it should only take a few minutes. At that time you might even want to make a few more.

It could also just be a lack of communication on their end. The last few trips I've taken, I've booked my ADRs, PSs, whatever right at the 90-180 mark (whever the soonest allowable date was), and about a month before my trips, I get an email saying how "happy wdw is that I'm coming soon, and would I like to enhance my trip further by dining in one of WDW's legendary restaurants"....obviously, they just sent the email without knowing that I actually already have ADRs made. but, it can't hurt to call and confirm, rather than risk going hungry!

Can't hurt to give them a call. I am sure everything will be fine with the adr's already booked by you but it's worth a call just to check. You never know they may be able to better what you have already been given!

I read on another board that people with and w/o ADRs were getting the phone call. Don't be worried, it looks like they are calling everyone.

A lot of times, Disney does not connect the actual reservation you have to the ADRs already made, since you give them a phone number rather than your confirmation number. They are just trying to make sure you are all set. I would call and confirm the ones you have already, but I suggest that for everyone. Surprises like missing ADRs are things that ruin a trip.

I would call and confirm since I had an ADR mix up already for my trip at the end of the month - the CM booked me at Liberty Tree Tavern not Le Cellier and then I couldn't get the time I wanted at Le Cellier. I found out accidentally when I was calling to reschedule a different ADR and the CM listed all the ADRs I already had.

I would definitely call to confirm.

Did you give a resort confirm # or your phone #? Sometimes that's the difference...

I did give my phone number, so as Mickey said, they probabaly didn't link my ADR's with my room. I'm calling tomorrow to confirm ADR's and room reservations. Six more days until we leave!!!!!

I always call 30 days out to confirm my reservations, then a week before we leave and then the night before. Call me anal, but I worry so much about our plans being screwed up.

Thank goodness I did that last year because they didn't have one of my ADR's and I had to rebook it but for a different time.

I am glad everything worked out.
I have confirmed our ADRs 60 days out and 45 days out... got to wait 9 more days for 30 days out.

I am still trying to change 1 ADR but nothing available yet.
