Yachtsman or Flying Fish?

I am still contemplating my wife's birthday dinner on 9/29. Yachtsman Steakhouse looks good but it's two credits. Now we're considering changing our reservation to Flying Fish because I keep seeing great reviews for it and it's only 1 credit. For all I know, it might even be booked but I thought I'd ask first. She loves seafood and steak (don't we all?) so either one could be a winner.

What do you think?

Re: Yachtsman or Flying Fish?

I think Flying Fish is also 2 credits. We ate there last summer and it was very good and the service was excellent. We didn't make it back in May but it's on our list to try again because it was so wonderful.

Dammit. I checked Allears and it didn't say that. Forget it then. YS is fine.

Actually, I can't read tonight. It's under a different column.

I still think you should think about FF, it's very good.

Re: Yachtsman or Flying Fish?

One of the reasons I'm reconsidering is because I keep getting different reports on entree addons. For example, some people say you can add a lobster tail to an entree at YS but others say you can't. Not that I'm trying to be cheap but it could change my mind.

Re: Yachtsman or Flying Fish?

We were told by our server at Concourse Steakhouse that we would have to pay for any add ons we wanted. I think that's the rule but some servers let you do add ons because it ups their tip. Don't count on it and if it happens then it's great.
