Icon5 Dining Plan - HELP!!

We have the free dining plan for September, (doesn't everyone), and I have a question. I was looking at the counter service, and I noticed that in Pinocchio Village, for example, has Pizza. However, in the children's menu, they just have mac & cheese, and PBJ. My son will be 4, and he does not like mac & cheese, or PBJ. Would they allow him to eat the pizza with the children's dining plan?

Re: Dining Plan - HELP!!

There are more options than mac and cheese and PBJ. I can't see why they wouldn't let him get a pizza. Who is to know who the pizza is for anyway. One person goes up to get the food while the others are getting that table. They aren't going to have to personally see your child. Get the pizza. The CS and TS are all pooled together, so it really doesn't matter. You should pay out of pocket for you little guy's CS and use his counter service for breakfast one morning.

Thanks Dana. The menu is on Allears, and I didn't know if Disney would be able to know because I didn't know if it was separated in the room key. Example, I will have 21 CS - 7 of those is children's. The Dining Plan says that if there is a child's menu, you have to use it. Since I have never used the plan before, I didn't know. As far as breakfast, we are planning a couple of character breakfasts, and lunches. I know you can do better food, but for us, the characters work. Since it is free, we are in the black money wise. We are going to use the grocery store for breakfast foods. We don't do big breakfast usually, and I have to get groceries for my son's milk and juice. I know that there is a minimum to have groceries ordered, so this works. I think the counters will be mostly lunch or dinner.

if there is not something there he likes, there are more than enough different places in the MK to eat.....

I understand that, but there are certain places we would like to try. This is why I asked my question. If I wanted to stay safe, I wouldn't have asked. Thank you for opinion.

pumpkin, I was also wondering this. I can't remember which counter service it is, maybe Peco Bills, I saw on the adult menu they have burgers etc but on the kids menu its chilled chicken and hot dogs in beans. Was wondering if DD could just get a burger. Good question!!

I think at CS places, it doesn't matter what you get since all the credits are pooled together (they still are, right?? ). The CM taking your order won't know who is eating what, so I think you should be fine ordering a burger for DD.

At a TS restaurant, I think you HAVE to order off of the kids menu. But if there's nothing on the kids menu that your DD will like, maybe you can inquire with your server, maybe they have ways to get around it.

Re: Dining Plan - HELP!!

I think you have to order off the kids menu.

We you order they will tell you what they kids can have and not have. My kids wanted chicken fingers (was on the adult menu) but they were unable to get it under the plan.
