Hoop Dee Doo reservation?

I'm anxiously awaiting for Southwest to book flights past Jan. 9th (we are going Jan. 27th, I believe) but I'm worried that by the time I can book my vacation that I won't beable to get into the Hoop DeeDoo. How far ahead would I need to make my ADR?
And any ideas when Southwest will extend their dates?

Southwest is always later than the rest of the airlines with getting flight schedules out. That's one of the reasons I don't fly them. I just can't wait until the last minute. I know that HDD reservations for 2007 are able to be made 180 days in advance like the other shows. I believe your seating table is still determined by how far in advance you book (within the respective category you buy). I would book now and change later if I had to, just to be safe.

Book it now. You can always cancel if you need to. SW has not changed their flights (from RI) in a few years, so you should be able to figure out your flights. SW should be coming out with new flights in the middle of Sept.

The later shows are much easier to get into than the early show. In fact, the 9:30 show will have good seats for quite a while.

Book the dinner for the middle of your trip. That way if you leave or arrive on a different day, it wont matter. you can book hoop-dee 2 years in advance..or you use to be able to anyway.

I agree with Dana. Fortunately, with January being a slower month you should still find good seating.

Dana, I believe I read somewhere that starting in 2007 all the dinner shows can only be booked at the 180 day mark like everything else. I could be wrong though.

If I was ever going to go to this,I totally changed my mind when they came out with the tiered pricing.

Book it the first available minute. Booking it for the middle or the later part of your trip will help out too, in case you arrive a day or two later than planned. Good luck.

Just remember, if you're not on the DDP, they will charge your card for the total cost of the meal when you book (but they will refund if you cancel).
