late lunch @ WCC-good idea?

We have 2:40pm ADR's for WCC-one of the last ADR's there before they close & get ready for dinner.
Do you think this is a good idea? I'm just worried about...
1-Old, cold food that's been sitting out.
2-Being rushed so they can do their work.
3-The fun factor being low, since it's at the end of a shift.
Any advice?
Thanks!

I haven't eaten at WCC, but I've eaten at other Disney buffets for a late lunch when they were getting ready for the dinner shift. We never had any problems, I think they did a really good job of bringing out fresh food right until the thend, and the atmosphere didn't seem lacking!

We've eaten at WDW buffets plenty of times near the time they were closing or switching, and have found the food to still be freshly prepared.

Re: late lunch @ WCC-good idea?

WCC isn't a buffet. You can order individual meals or you can order the skillet. I doubt the food will have been sitting out that long.

However, my first WCC experience was a late lunch and it was HORRIBLE! The main reason to go there is to experience the fun and "antics" of the staff, and because there were hardly any diners, it was BOR-ING. Every joke was stretched. It was just awful. I probably won't go back anytime soon because of the bad memories...

I don't know about the timing of your lunch...but I can say that you won't need to eat dinner! They serve up hearty portions at WCC... You'll just need a light snack at supper time. :)
