25th Wedding Anniversay - Where to Eat?

Hi All,
We are making an unexpected trip to the Disney area on Wed for 5 days. We are doing a walk thru for a vacation home we are building and it happens to fall the week of our 25th Wedding Anniversay. I tried to get reservations at the California Grill but its short notice and no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? My husband does not like elegant, it needs to be a relaxed atmosphere and I would love to see fireworks over the Magic Kingdom.. my favorite. We make the trip to Florida several times a year and we try to hit new things, but for this trip I'm drawing a blank and for this visit I really want something memorable. We always thought we'd be taking a trip to Hawaii but instead .... things changed!
So, if anyone has any suggestions of where to eat and what to do that would be memorable for just the two of us that would be so wonderful.
Thank you everyone!

Re: 25th Wedding Anniversay - Where to Eat?

I don't know if this is a good suggestion or not...but the 2 places that come to mind for a nice anniversary dinner are Narcoossee's and Artist Point. I don't think you could see any fireworks from Artist Point, but you might be able to from Narcoossee's?

P.S. Congrats on the 25th, that is wonderful!

Try 'Ohana! It will have a "Hawaiian-esque" feel to it!

I always have to go with Artist Point. No fireworks, but fantastic food in a laid-back atmosphere.

This is a duplicate thread. There is another one floating around just like it in which I recommended 'Ohana hours ago.

I am going to put my nose out here and say Jiko! The restuarant is beautifully romantic in the evening and a nice little walk outside by the savannah with the firepits would be fabulous. Yup... anniversary... Jiko.

Re: 25th Wedding Anniversay - Where to Eat?

For a 25th anniversary that you can't get into California Grill, I'd go with Narcoossee's, Yachtsman's Steakhouse, Shula's Steakhouse, Flying Fish, or perhaps Fulton's. What hotel are youstaying at. I've been told that the concierges at the monorail resorts are able to get their guests into Chef Mickey's and Cali Grill even when WDW Dine has nothing available. You could also call back and plead for the last available seating of the night at Cali Grill.
