Trails End becomes Popular ...

I tried to get reservations for Dinner through DVC Member Services at the Trials End for December 18th and found that all slots up until 7:00 PM were full. We have been going to the Trails End forever (Every time we go to WDW) and this is the first time I have ever heard of this. Any thoughts on what's up here.

I am going to have to agree with you, since I stayed in an RV at Fort Wilderness since I was 5 years old Trail's End has ALWAYS been a staple for me. DH and I have noticed, especially over the past year, that Trail's End seems to get busier and busier everytime we visit!! Which is great b/c I

the food there and it deserves to get a big crowd. Although, yeah, when ADRs get scarce that's not good! I still LOVE breakfast there, it's the best! Good luck! I wish I knew what the scoop was but I don't.

There were lines every night that we were there this past spring. We were really suprised by it. I guess everyody else just discoverd what a nice place to eat it is.

I was going to say the same thing. Take the 7pm buffet and then keep trying to get in earlier. Just a thought: I was able to be seated more than half the time with my ADR last trip. You could always make the 7pm one, and just try to get in earlier....it has worked more than not for me. Also, try changing your party size by adding one person.

I am going here for the first time. I was able to get a lunch reservation for 4 adults on December 12th. I did not try for dinner but keep trying, something will open up.

I am looking forward to this restaurant.

Wow, this surprises me. We eat here several times every trip. I've never even made an ADR. We just stop in and they seat us. I might have to look into this in my upcoming trip.

It's definitely getting to be more popular. We're having our big post race celebratory dinner there for all the runners after the half marathon in January. It was the (practically) unanimous choice.

Just thought all would like to know that we gave up on getting in to Trail's End and we are going to Whispering Canyon Cafe for a late lunch at WL, resting for a little at our room in VWL and then taking the launch to MVMCP. Everytime we called the same answer was given - Earliest is 7:00.
