1900 Park Fare to be refurbished
I saw this on Allearsnet.com and didn't see it reported here. Sorry if this is old news
 http://http://www.allearsnet.com/din/restnews.htm DECEMBER 2006 NEW! The Grand Floridian Resort's 1900 Park Fare will close for rehab 7/9/07 - 10/1/07. During 1900 Park Fare's closure, the Grand Floridian Cafe will offer a pre-plated character breakfast and dinner, "Supercalifragilistic Breakfast" and "Cinderella's Gala Feast." Also during that time, Citricos, upstairs at the Grand Floridian, will be open for breakfast and lunch with a menu similar to the cafe's. Citricos will also resume dinner seven days a week. (It is currently closed Monday and Tuesday.)

Well, maybe you can have the character meal at the Grand Floridian Cafe they refer to in the paragraph. I'm sure there will be more info coming about what will be served, and of course the characters will still be there.
Can anyone tell me how the seating size of 1900PF compares to that of the GFC?

Hmmmm that's kind of a bummer...if per chance DH and I get to go to WDW this fall, that was one of my must-dos! I
 that restaurant!Ah well...no telling when/if we'd be going anyway, and it will force me to try something new!

It's a bit of a shame they will be closed during a time I might be up there, but, 1900's can use some serious sprucing up. It could be worse, I seem to remember Crystal Palace being closed much longer during a recent refurb.
