Villain dining?

We're taking our first trip to WDW in April, and I'm just learning about character dining. Some of the things I have seen have mentioned a meal with the villians, but I can't seem to find anything in the Unofficial Guide. My 6-year-old son is OBSESSED with Captain Hook

and it would be great to know that he would be able to meet him somehow!

I wish I had better news for you. While there have been petitions in the past to bring back the villain dinning, I do not know of any at this time. I know one was in the works for MGM, but I thought that had been scrapped because of logistics.

Captain Hook does sign autographs!

No villain dining.

But you can find Captain Hook and some other Villains roaming the parks! (Cruella De Ville, etc)

We got an autograph with Captain Hook last year. If I remember right, he was in Adventureland with Peter and Wendy (but a safe distance apart). When Hook saw Peter's autograph in DD's book, he proceeded to use his hook to put an "X" through the page. He didn't really tear it, but it was great fun! DS was too scared to go up, so I had to get his autograph for him. Beware - Hook plays more with the grown ups!!

haven't heard about any villian dining but what about the princess and pirates night at the Magic Kingdom -- thinking you would definitely see Capt. Hook.

Captain Hook & Smee are found just outside of Pirates of the Caribean, and I've seen Smee at the M&G section at Epcot.

The villian meal was scrapped due to the number of terrified children not enjoying their food.

I can't speak for WDW but the last three times we have done a character breakfast at the Plaza in DL Captain Hook has been one of the characters. You may want to check to see if the same is done someplace over there as well.

That is so great! My DS loves seeing Hook on TV and pretending to be Hook, but at the park he stays clear! My DD on the other hand during the last trip called Hook a "cod fish" and then started ticking like a clock...Hook acted very frieghtened. It was hilarious.

I love it! I'll tell my DD to try that if we see Hook again. Our interactions with the characters have really been our most memorable moments.
