Endulge my stupid dining plan question
Heading for my 6 day trip this coming sunday (yay) and i've been reviewing the dining plan in connection with my favorite places to eat.
So.. what exactly constitutes a snack? Is it anything ordered that is under $4. For example.. i really like the mini corn dogs at cosmic rays (its on the childrens menu.. but they didnt stop me from getting it last time). It comes with fries and juice. The menu i found put it at $3.99 Will this count as a snack or does it have to be of the snack (ice cream, chips, etc) variety? Will the people at the cash register be able to answer these types of questions for me before we put a charge through? Thank you :) |

I kinda wondered the same things - what is a snack. According to the WDW brochure for the dining plan, it doesn't sound like it is a snack unless it has a snack icon next to it on the menu/board. So, you should be able to tell if it counts as a snack before ordering. But, from what others said, somethings (like in epcot) may count as a snack, you just have to ask 1st. Have fun!!! Where are you eating - do you have ADR's - I'm working and reworking my dining plans, so am anxious to hear about everyone else's!

No, it can be over $4.00 but it has to have a little meal plan snack symbol! We thought it would be hard to understand but when we got there everything was color coated!!!!!!!!!!!

so, even if it is over $4 - just ask if it can be a snack? Awesome! I would not have asked (especially if it did not have an icon next to it and was over $4). The brochure made me think it had to be iconned (my new word, lol) or under $4 - I love this board, because you get real life info! Thanks!
