Now, I know there is no one better to ask then my fellow MBers this insiders question....has anyone heard any info on the new TS Restaurant they are suppose to open at AK?

What is it and when is it suppose to open?!?

I was hoping it would be open for my summer trip!

I just found this on all ears website....but I was hoping someone might have an actual opening date or more details?

2/27/06: Two new restaurants are coming to Walt Disney World! An Asian restaurant will debut in the Village of Anandapur in Animal Kingdom's Asia in Summer 2007. It will offer both table and counter service dining options, as well as house retail space with Asian-inspired merchandise, such as sushi plates and fine teapots.

Well it's going to be part of the new DVC addition. So, whenever that is scheduled to open I am assuming that's when the restuarant will also.

October 11, 2006, Lake Buena Vista, FL - Disney Vacation Club announced today that it is building a new timeshare resort on Walt Disney World property to meet ongoing strong demand for its unique vacation-ownership program.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas will be part of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, which Travel & Leisure Family magazine recently honored with the No. 4 spot on its list of the 50 greatest family resorts in the United States and Canada. The restaurant will be operated by the Rainforest Cafe's Landry's Restaurants.

I really hope this is open by August!
