My dining plans for upcoming trip
These are the restaurants I have palnned at for my trip in acouple weeks
Sun. 1/28 Counter lunch -Sunshine Seasons Dinner- LeCellair Mon. 1/29 lunch-SciFi Dinner-Hollywood & Vine Tues. 1/30 lunch-Tusker House Dinner- Rose & Crown Wed. 1/31 lunch-Earl of Sandwich Dinner- Hoop Dee Doo Thurs. 2/1 late breakfast-Crystal Palace Dinner- Harbour House I do have one more ADR for park fare Fri. morning but I'll have used our 7 dining credits by now. Should we pay cash at Sci Fi (which i heard was kinda cheap) and save our credit for park fare? Or are there good counter services places that we could go to twice on our last day.? What does everyone think? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Pay Park Fare out of pocket!
Sci-Fi is ok, once. You should probably pay for Crystal Palace out of pocket as well and swap out Harbour House at dinner for Kona Cafe or Concourse Steakhouse if you're trying to stay near the Magic Kingdom that night. Or possibly do your counter meal as a breakfast and save the table for dinner.

OMG great choices!!
LeCellier--- A+++++++++  Rose and Crown--- YUUUUMMMMMMYYYY!!  Hollywood and Vine---- FANTASTIC!!!!!!! Crystal Palace--- ALWAYS A MUST DO!  And HOOP DEE DOO!!!! THE BEST!!!!!! Sci Fi is fun to try and their ribs are very good, I have heard great things about Tusker House too!! I would pay for Sci fi out of pocket!! Have fun, your plans sound so great!! I ABSOLUTELY love your choices!

I have bad memories of sci fi when I was younger, they made me eat my veggies - one that I really, really can't stand - I was like 17 and thought I was going to barf at the restaurant -- it was devastating. Makes me cringe thinking about it. Wont' go back for fear it might happen again.

I would love to try Flame Tree in AK some time, but they don't have any air conditioned seating area, and who wants to eat BBQ in 90% humidity and 85 degree heat? Tusker might also be a good choice for a CS breakfast.

Your plans look great! You have some of our favorite restaurants on you list, we love Hoop Dee Doo and Le Cellier and we had a great meal at Rose and Crown last May. I just can't get enough of Earl of Sandwich, yum.
