Flying Fish--new head chef yet??

Hi,

I heard that Jen's left Flying Fish around Oct '06 to become the head chef at CA Grill. Is there a new head chef at Flying Fish yet?? I noticed on another site that there is a new Flying Fish menu as of Jan '07 for Flying Fish.

That's strange, in September we ate at California Grill and they told us they had a new executive chef since we were there last in Oct 05. Haven't eaten at Flying Fish in a while, so I can't say.
New menu at AllEars?

Read that John State went from CA Grill to Minneapolis to be exec at the new Marriott.

We were at Flying Fish in mid late Oct and the staff there seemed dejected. You could tell something was "different." They mentioned that Jens had left a week or so before.

Yep. I'd love to hear how Jens has transformed CA Grill. I really enjoyed his food at FF.
