Franco's Dining Report.....

I think dining wise this was our best trip!

There were old favorites and very good new ones

I will begin with some new ones for us.
1. WolfGangPuckCafe! What a nice surprise this was, we
were given a great table with a view of the water, it was
busy but not crazy and a very good waitress. From the
calamari and the woodfired flatbreads for appetizers to
the shrimp and scallop fettuccine, filet Mignon, Macadamia
nut crusted chicken this was an excellent meal, with very
good portions (more on that later)the boys and Helena
split a creme brulee sampler and I had coffee. I would
grade our first visit a 10!

2. Artist Point! Another very nice restaurant with a very
nice atmoshere. We started with a couple of orders of
the venison spring rolls and a order of mussels for me,
they were outstanding and I think the spring rolls were
to, but I could not get near them without the family
growling at me!

Three of us had the salmon and
Danny had the porkchop and mac/cheese. Good portions
but maybe a tad small on the salmon. I had heard of the
Artist point cobbler so I had that, my babe had the sorbet
and the boys had the appletarts all were satisfied. This
is not like me ( I am a grump after all) but I would have
to give this restaurant a solid 10!

Glad to hear you liked Artist Point. It's one of my 2 (Le Cellier of course being the other one!) favorite restaurants ANYWHERE!
Did you love the cobbler???

Wow, looks like you're off to a good start. Surely it has to go downhill from here though. I mean not every restaurant you ate at scored a solid 10, did they?

I would've expected to see Artist Point get such a high score, but I'm glad to see that Wolfgang ranked so highly as well.

Yes, dining reports are a great idea. Now where is Franco? I want to see the rest. Maybe he went to eat breakfast, and we'll get a report on that too.

No, not all will be 10's (I am a hard man) but
we really did have very good luck this trip in
dining. Yes the cobbler was excellent, can't
wait until our April trip to have it again!

Yay! The dining report is here! I really, really want to try Artist Point sometime. I have heard nothing but good things about it.

I am glad you liked Wolfgang Pucks. I really enjoyed my meal there last month.
