Re: Sprit of Aloha
Well, it gets mixed reviews. I found the show to be pretty corny and the food just okay. The fire twirling guy was awesome but other than that I would say to skip it and go to the hoop de doo instead. That is a lot more fun for kids and adults, too.

Re: Sprit of Aloha
Hi there,
We were just there in Dec. 06 and we went. As Karli said, the fire guy is awesome. I really enjoy the other acts as well, I just don't care for the auntie part of the show. I wish it was just the different dances from the different Islands. The food is OK, the kids food is not so good. So for the money, would I do it again? Probably not! Try Ohana's instead, fun and yummy!!!

Re: Sprit of Aloha
*EJ takes up the fight once more, lol* Spirit of Aloha is great! Pete and I LOVE this show so much, I can't say enough about the fire and hula dancing. Book early so you get a seat closer to the stage.

Re: Sprit of Aloha
I was there in May, and here are my topline thoughts:
1) The food was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it 2) The fire dancing was awesome - definitely something to see 3) The show part that takes place during the meal - meh. The children at the show seemed to really enjoy it but I thought it was cheesy. Hope that helps! |

Re: Sprit of Aloha
Yeah, I'm basically going to second (third? fourth?? how many have already commented?) what a lot of you have said - the food is ok, the showis kinda corny, but the fire guy is great! I'm not sorry we went, but I don't think I would do it again.
