Steph, your plans look AWESOME!!!

As for Coral Reef or Kona..I can't really give an opinion, except to say I'd love to try them both! I've heard good reviews for Coral Reef lately! If you guys like seafood, why not try Coral Reef? If that's too much Epcot for you, then go with Kona! I don't think you can go wrong!!!!!

I get to make my ADRs in 4 days!!!!! I can't wait!!!!

I'm not a big seafood eater but absolutely loved Coral Reef! The atmoshpere is awesome! We actaully got to see one of the divers feed a turle (I swear it was crush) I've never eaten at Kona but have heard alot of good things about it.

Re: Our July/Aug dining plans

Your dining plans look great! You should know by now, that I'm a food junkie!

My suggestion would be Kona Cafe. I have heard so many great reviews and they have a lot of seafood options as well as a variety of other dishes for those who may not want fish.

PassPorter recently had a great review of this restaurant:

I may just do that. I going crazy trying to finish our plans. I'm not kidding when I say I've been trying to pick 2 restaurants for over 10 days and I'm no closer than I was when I started.

I'm happy to hear that, I think half the reason I want to try it is because of the atmosphere.

Thanks! I don't think we can have too much Epcot, we are staying at BC and BW so it's a quick walk over for dinner even if we want to go to another park for the evening.

Re: Our July/Aug dining plans

From what everyone has been saying lately I would try Coral Reef. Nathan would probably really like the atmosphere.

Do you like Boma? That is a fav of mine.

What made you change from WL?
I would love to stay at BW some day.

Thanks!

We've never tried Boma, I'm not sure we would like it (I know Nathan wouldn't).

We changed resorts because we rented points from a DVC member (thanks skwak!!). I had booked WL but saw an offer I couldn't pass up. I love WL but BC is so nice and we haven't tried BW so this will give us chance to try it w/o booking our whole trip there. I'm so excited now that we have changed our plans.

Re: Our July/Aug dining plans

Your plans look great. We have never eaten at Kona or Coral Reaf but my DM & DF have and loved it.

Since you are staying at BC/BW there is also the choices of Cape May Cafe, Spoodles, Big River Grille or ESPN Club. We are going to try Spoodles and Big River on this trip.

Also, you will have loads of fun on the Family Magic Tour! That is all I am going to say without giving anything away!

Don't worry, we did the tour a couple of years ago but my son decided we should do it again. I don't mind because at 8 he's almost too old. It's a fun way to pass a couple of hours. I offered the pirate cruise again but he said he wanted to do something with the whole family.

THanks for the suggestions. I have always wanted to try Big River Grille, the menu looks good. ESPN is always a hit with my guys. The food is good and the service is usually quick.

I have looked and looked at the Spoodles menu and it just doesn't do anything for me. I know a lot of people here love it but I just don't think we would.

We've done Cape May for breakfast and dinner and I may add it but, honestly, it was just ok.

Re: Our July/Aug dining plans

If llama loves it then we are going to try it.

The menu looks good and the atmosphere looks great so I think it's worth a try. I was worried about picking too many restaurants that we would end up ordering steak. We like steak but don't want it 5 times on my trip. I know there are other things on the menu, CR is actually a seafood restaurant but I worry about my DH.

Same with Kona, I'm sorried we'll play it safe and order steak. I guess I'll have to take a chance and order something totally new.
