Icon5 Narcoossee's vs Victoria and Alberts

Please compare these two. Pros and Cons.
Does V&A only have two seattings and a fixed menu?
I know V&A is not on the dinning plan and Narcoossee's is.
Looking at ether one of these for a 10th Ann. dinner.
Thanks!

Re: Narcoossee's vs Victoria and Alberts

Is it just going to be your and your significant other? If so, go to Victoria and ALbert's and have a really special meal. You can get dressed up and all that...makes the night romantic. If you are bringing kiddos along, don't...take them to neverland at the Polynesian and make it an adults only celebration...it's sweet~

I agree with Dana, go for V&A to make it extra special.

From what I understand there are two seatings and a fixed menu.

I definitely vote for V & A. Anniversaries are not for children - and there's bound to be children at Narcoossee's.

V & A is for those very special occasions - could you mention that to my husband?

Re: Narcoossee's vs Victoria and Alberts

We sent my dh's parents to V & A last month as a thank you for taking us to WDW. It was the best dining experience they have ever had, and these are people who have traveled! It was a very expensive evening, but well worth it. They ate at the earlier seating and did not get the wine flight. They really enjoyed it and it was a very special evening for them. The only positive I'd see about Narcoossee's is that you would already have paid for it with the DDP and wouldn't cost you anything out of pocket. It really is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I only hope dh and I could go there someday.

There is nothing better than V&A. It is 5 star dining!! It if it is just the 2 of you, get dressed up and splurge!! There are only 2 seatings, with a fixed menu, but so worth it. Narcoossee's is also very good, upscale, and the view of 7 seas lagoon is nice.

We have never been to either, but my DF (disney dad) loved Narcoosee's on his last trip......our family hopes to join him for a dinner there on the next trip since we are all traveling together

V & A, hands down. The best dining WDW has to offer. If you haven't done so already, wander over to allears and take a look at V & A's menus. They may be fixed, but they're fabulous.

Victoria and Albert's is the only place in all of WDW where jacket and tie ARE REQUIRED AS ARE COCKTAIL DRESSES FOR WOMEN!
As far as I know V&A only offers two seatings at specific times. There is a menu that you can choose from, unless you do the Chef's Table, which is entirely at the chef's discretion. I used a non-existent dinner at V&A as the cover excuse for bringing my tux and a semi-formal dress for DW when I did the surprise vow renewal. Sometime in the future, we will dine there, but it's historically been hard squeezing it into my vaction plans.
Narcoossee's is an annual ritual during our main WDW vacation going back to 2002.

Re: Narcoossee's vs Victoria and Alberts

DW and I just spent our 10th anniversary at GF and ate in both. Both meals were excellent, but very different. V&A's truly is a once in a lifetime, special occaision dinner. Very ellegant, quiet, refined. Narcoossee's was still a quality location, but not fair to compare the two. We had dinner reservations at 7 at Narcoossee's and the fireworks were at 8. We had an excellent view from our table.

I know that this probably didnt help you much, but enjoy wherever you go and happy anniversary!

Dana, you've forgotten? This was the weekend that Wilma came to visit. I guess I never mentioned this little detail.
