Hi all! Yesterday marked 180 DAYS UNTIL I CHECK INTO POP CENTURY!!! I made the ADRs for all of my days. What do you think???

8/23 - NONE..OFFSITE

8/24 - ALTHOUGH I WILL BE OFF SITE, I AM MEETING THE MOUSEBUZZ GIRLS AT SPOODLES!!!

8/25 - NONE...OFFSITE

8/26 - CHECK INTO POP! Le Cellier 5:20pm

8/27 - Concourse Steak House 5:30pm

8/28 - San Angel Inn 6:45pm

8/29 - Pirate Cruise at the Grand Floridian for Nathaniel, California Grill for dinner 8pm

8/30 - Whispering Canyon - 5:10pm

8/31 - DTD CS dinner

9/1 - Restaurant Marrakesh 5:30pm

So....what do you think??? I am questioning California Grill. I DEFINITELY want to go there, but do you think we should go during the first days of our trip, while we are off site and pay out of pocket for it? Do you think it's worth 2 TS credits on the meal plan?

And YES, I am aware there are 3 nights ending up at Epcot...BY CHOICE! We just love it there.

So...OPINIONS???

You know, I have never been to the California grill. I have been intrigued by recent reviews though. I would use the Dining Plan for that one, that way, if its not a good meal, you won't feel like you have wasted your OOP money. Just my opinion, though.

YUM! they look so good ( & similar to mine)! ok, so you are offsite but you gotta eat - so what are the plans for those days? DTD CS is Earl, right?

We are thinking about concourse and San Angel both too - so many decisions!

Looks like good selections, and if you use the 2 TS credits at CG just make sure you get the most expensive items on the menu! We are not doing any 2 TS meals on the plan, I am just paying for those OOP.

I know...decisions decisions! DH said let's go while we are off site and pay out of pocket for it. I was also thinking we could using 2 TS credits for HIS meal and pay for mine and DS's. I can share his dessert and I probably wouldn't get an appetizer (maybe just a salad or something like that). Hmmmm....I gotta check on this further.

Yes, when we are off site, we still have to eat! Not sure where we are going, since we plan to just enjoy our resort for those days. And I will DEFINITELY be hitting Earl of Sandwich at DTD probably MULTIPLE times. Probably even BEFORE we get on site!!!!! Those sammys are the BEST!!!!

Oh gosh we love Earl of Sandwich too! They have great iced tea and coffee, too, by the way!

Didn't someone (Woohoo maybe) say that now you are charged for the number of people in the room - so you couldn't pay OOP for someone and use the DDP for the other? or did I misunderstand that? Hmm, I'll go read that thread again.

I like the idea of doing the CG while you are off site and paying out of pocket. Your choices look great! I haven't been to a few of those places and look forward to your reviews of them.

Do california grill!! I hear its even better than the last time I wanted to go...(did not go yet though- we went to fultons instead that night!)

Have never been to California Grill, but it sounds great. I think Concourse Steakhouse is OK, nothing great. Hope you have a great time.

IMO, I would not use two TS credits for any meal and if you're gonna do it, pay OOP for it... it just doesn't make sense, KWIM?

We're gonna do CRT next Feb for dinner for DD birthday, but we're gonna pay OPP because as expensive as it is, I still think we'll get a better value if we use those credits for two meals.
