Chef Mickey's B or D?

Hi, everybody! In my planning so far, I seem to only have room for one Chef Mickey's character meal. Please tell me which meal you would prefer there and why, breakfast or dinner??????????:) Thanks in advance!

I prefer the breakfast at Chef Mickeys. I have been really dissapointed the last two times w/the food at dinner. I'm not a big breakfast eater, but I do crave good breakfasts!! I get my fix while I'm at WDW at Chef Mickeys. There is so much to choose from, i love the hash browns w/cheese and bacon..yummy! You can fill up and be good to go until dinner and even then, you'll only need a lite dinner. It's a good way to start your day. We usually go on our last day there. Since we don't go to a park that day, it's still a way to have some last minute Disney magic!! (I wish the food was still as good as it used to be for dinner, that used to be our favorite time to go..the day we checked in:cry: )

What other kinds of food are served at the breakfast? Is it a buffet as well? I'm a picky eater, and would most likely only eat bacon, pancakes, and biscuits, if those all were available. Since my mother and I are staying in the Contemporary tower this trip (yay!), we were looking to try out the breakfast. She loves the dinner, but I definately don't get the $25 worth (pizza, mash tatoes, a slice or two of turkey).

Both are so good it is hard to choose. If it is a theme park day, I personally would go with dinner because we like to get to the parks early and take a mid-day break. It would work out well to take a break around 1:30 or 2:00, head to the resort for a quick nap or a swim and make it to Chef Mickey's dinner PS by 5:00 or 5:30 and then hop the monorail to MK for parade & fireworks or rides. Goofygal, I like your thinking... when we drive to WDW we like to make a PS for b-fast on our departure morning. It is our favorite way to end a great vacation! Of course dinner there the first night is a nice way to kick things off! Oh no, I'm not helping now am I!

I'm not going to be any help either. We are going to Chef Mickey's for both breakfast and dinner. We are going for dinner the day we arrive and breakfast on our non-park day. All I can say is yummy, I'm glad I don't have to pick between the two. (If I was forced to pick, I think I would have to pick breakfast.)

:) We went with a large group for breakfast we picked Chef Mickey because three of the kids were picky eaters and it seems that there is something for everyone. We also went for Dinner but liked breakfast much better. I must say if you are not a morning person you might want to pick dinner cause it is loud.
But hey your in Disney that the way it should be.

We went to Chef Mickeys for breakfast. The food was good...and there was plenty of it.

I would choose Chef Mickeys for breakfast only on a non- or late- theme park day. Our PS was for 9:15. We arrived early, but still did not get to the MK until 10:30....which is late if you are planning on a mid-afternoon break. The park was crowded by the time we got there, too.

Hope this helps!

It's a close call for me as well, but I'd have to give the edge to the dinner meal as Chef Mickey's always been alot more crowded at breakfast time.

Lets see, there are a few different types of eggs, of course bisquits.(my favorite) fresh fruit, bacon, hash browns, pancakes, and (on the kids side, although adults eat there too!) waffels in the shape of Mickey's head. Krispie Cream donuts...(yummy again!!)I think muffins are available, breakfast pizza(? can't remember if its still there) I know there are a some items that I am missing...but just know, coming from a picky eater... I find lots of things to eat there!

I know, this is our fav thing to do on our last day. This year though, we are making an exception. We are going the morning before we leave. This will be my son's birthday. He and I are going to get up early and hit the MK for an hour or so(this will be our 2nd day at MK), then take the monorail over to meet the rest of the group for an 11am PS at Chef Mickeys. It will be a good time for a break for us anyways, and I wanted something close to lunch, so we could order him a cake for the meal. This will be like a brunch to us. Then afterwards, we may head back to the resort for awhile, and back to MK (or just skip the resort and head straight back to MK, as this will be our last park day!)

My family and I are early risers and we don't usually eat a big breakfast! We usually grab something at the parks! So if I were to choose one I would say dinner! The Ice Cream Sundae Bar is a plus for the Kids too.
Another great place to eat breakfast at is the Concourse Steak House right next to Chef Mickey's!:p
