HDDR and DDP question

I know that you can go to HDDR on the dining plan and it's 2 credits. What happens when you book it? Do you tell the CM that you are on the DDP? I ask because usually this is a dinner that you have to pay in full for when booking. How does it work when on the plan? Do you pay and then get your money back? leave a deposit? haven't been there in years and we are more than likely going to go in october now, so any help with this would be appreciated. I want to make sure I am prepared when I call for my ADR's on the 23rd of April. Thanks in advance for the help.

I booked our ADR's for HDDR a few weeks ago. You tell them you are on The DDP. So you do not have to pay inadvance. But they do take your credit card # to hold your reservation. But if you are a no show you will be charged to your credit card. Other than that you get your comformation # that you use to get your tickets when you check in at your on-site hotel! Hope this helped! And have a Great time!!!!

Re: HDDR and DDP question

That's absolutely right, just make sure that the Cast Member on the phone knows you are on the dining plan. They will just take a credit card guarantee, and there is a 48 hour (before the event) cancellation policy.

Correct. I feel that this is a staple, and Hoop-De-Doo should not be missed. Don't be afraid to leave your credit card number, as said they will not charge it until that night. In your case only if you do not show up.

Re: HDDR and DDP question

I wish you could use the DDP for the best seats, or pay OOP for the difference. DDP will only get you tier 2 or 3 seating.

Me too. We're using hte dining plan this summer but decided to pay out of pocket so we could get a table closest to the front. I don't want to take a chance of sitting in the upper level.

Re: HDDR and DDP question

Are the tier 2 and 3 seats that bad? If the seating stinks, then maybe I will just pass on this.
