LATEST HOT DEALS - AS OF 4/6/07

A special "free dining" vacation package at Walt Disney World (for check-ins 8/26/07-9/22/07) is scheduled to be released for Disney Rewards Visa cardholders on Monday, April 9. The same package is expected to become available to the general public on Thursday, April 12. If the new package is similar to the one offered for the past two years, it will require you to purchase at least 3 consecutive hotel nights at an official Walt Disney World resort, plus at least a one-day theme park ticket, and you will get a FREE dining package (one counter service meal, one table service meal and one snack, per person, per day) for the length of your stay. This has been a very popular promotion in past years, so I expect rooms to sell out fast.

thanks ranedrops! can't wait for the 12th - just to uncross my fingers! I am positive we are getting it, but until it's booked, my fingers and toes remained crossed.

now, how do we get them to extend the dates thru 09/29? lol! oh well, we can check in the week before (22nd) if we have to!

We are lucking our with the dates this year - last year we checked in 9/29 and were going to book for the same date this year but changed our minds and booked for 8/26 -great timing!

yes it is! we had planned on 09/29 check in (so we could have MNSSHP and F & W festival). but, we are changing to 09/22, since that's free dining. we still get MNSSHP & one day of F & W. not a bad deal at all! lol!

I just changed my ressie to the Contemporary- the CM told me to call back Monday morning at 7am (as a Visa card holder) to get FREE DINING!!

GREAT! Ever since doing WDW with free dining last year(Pop Cent/10 days/3 consecutive rides on Exp. Everest) we've been holding our breath to see if they'd offer it again. Even started considering non-Dis vacation!(GASP!)

We basically did the "food tour" of WDW in '05(my first time/7 days @ Coronado Springs/Status: instantly addicted((don't ask me about the pin trading)) on our dime and spared no expense. The free dining plan cannot be beat!

Oh, wait! If they do allow Free Dining then what do I do? Should I get our money back on the food plan or should we go for the resort upgrade?

Yes, I'd guess your TA would be able to make that adjustment no problemo.

now that is the million dollar question! which would you enjoy more? personally, I'd want my $$ - we are only in the room for sleeping/showering. & then I have more spending $ - always a good thing!

but, if you think it's the chance to go deluxe or even mod, when you normally would never do it - and you would enjoy/utilitze all it has to offer - go for it!

so, I have no advice & just managed to recap your choices! glad I could help!!!!

We own DVC but decided since the cost of tickets and the buying the DP while staying at a DVC would be about the same as booking a vacation plan in a moderate resort with the free DP that we would book the full vacation and bank our points until next year. That way we can go to WDW twice as much or as long next year.

I just spoke with a customer service agent at Chase for the Disney Rewards Visa and she told me the code is ZHQ and you can start calling on April 9th through June 24. She did also tell me that it is for booking dates 8/26-9/22. I won't be able to take advantage of this great deal but I thought I would pass along this information.
