Re: Boma Poll

I LOVED Boma! I don't have kids but this is a HUGE buffet and you can find something for everyone. If I remember correctly there is an entire kids "pod" full of stuff like chicken fingers and mac and cheese. And there is lots of yummy stuff for adults too. I was a little concerned about this buffet before we went but honestly the food was so good. You would think that some of the stuff would be very weird when you look at the descriptions but everything is just very flavorful. I think that's the best way to describe it.

Re: Boma Poll

I have older kids (teens). They didn't like the unusual food choices. So I ended up spending adult prices for them to eat foods off the kids table.
DH didn't care for it either, he's a meat and potatoes kind of guy.

But I thought the soups were quite yummy.

Re: Boma Poll

My DS's, 11 & 14, absolutely LOVED Boma. I guess it all depends on the kids personalities. Mine aren't picky eaters at all. As a matter of fact, they are currently eating me out of house and home! But, I loved that they had so many choices, and the last time we went there, the Chef behind the buffet, was talking to both of them, discussing what the different types of foods were and the history of the recipe. It was a great experience for them.

Re: Boma Poll

For a buffet, the food is very good. The food is unique, but not odd. The breakfast is very good as well.

Re: Boma Poll

My kids love Boma- they are average eaters. They always ask if we have an ADR for Boma when we plan a trip.

Re: Boma Poll

I'm going in August and I am also concerned about this meal. I am a VERY picky eater, as are my kids. DH will eat ANYTHING. However, I booked it on a Saturday night when they have ribs. I heard they are GREAT there!

Re: Boma Poll

A friend of mine just ate there a few weeks ago with her kids. She said the childrens buffet seemed "bland" compared to the wonderful flavors on the adult buffet. But, that was actually a good thing for them. Their kids loved the chicken wings and mac and cheese. They really loved it. Great for the whole family. We have ADR's in May, and she made me excited.

Re: Boma Poll

Good to here the "plus" reviews as we have an ADR for the first time at Boma. DH heard from several people that it is really good and we should go, so we booked dinner. A little nervous and a little excited about trying something new.
