Boma's????

I'm looking for thoughts on Boma.

I have to admit, I'm the worlds fussiest eater.

Re: Boma's????

They have regular and exotic foods. The food is very good and a few things that are made to order. It is buffet style with a lot of choices.

Re: Boma's????

I loved it!
(LOL..I feel like I am following you around the board today )

Anyways..I am sort of a picky eater...I only really like beef, chicken, shrimp and ocasionally crab..and they had some stuff i LOVED!

I tried a little bit of everything and went back for stuff I liked a lot..Boma's is not to be missed! And the buffet is so large there is lots of stuff to choose from..did you see anything on the menu you liked?

It is a great place if you want something different. I particularly did not like it. A little too different for me. It was an interesting taste though.

My dad tried to weasel out at the last minute on this reservation on our trip. He's a country-boy, meat and potatoes kind of guy and doesn't like spices on his food. We forced him to go, unwillingly, and it was his favorite restaurant of our trip!!: They had prime rib that was wonderful and tons of stuff he would've never tried, but did, and went back for seconds. I say you're on vacation, why not expand your horizons a little-you may just find that you like it too!

I am a fussy eater too (I only really like beef and I rarely eat chicken, pork or seafood.) I loved Boma though, we have done both the breakfast & dinner buffet. It's a must do every year we go.

Re: Boma's????

I have mixed feelings about Boma. I have never tried it before, nor have I wanted to. But with such great reviews for the most part and because I love to try DIFFERENT places each trip, I decided to go for it! It was either Boma or Wolfgang Puck Cafe. And I chose Boma. I am going on Saturday night, when they have RIBS! I hear they are GREAT!!!!!

Re: Boma's????

I am a fussy person too...meat and potatoes kind of gal. I love boma more so for breakfast than dinner, but still like the dinner. I have always been able to find plenty to eat there regardless of which meal I go to. I am heading there for my 4th time for dinner this October, so it must be good..I don't repeat service for places that stink..lol

Re: Boma's????

I am a VERY fussy eater and I liked it there. Yes, there were a few dishes I would never try BUT there was plenty of other offerings that I enjoyed with no problem at all. The dessert bar, in my opinion, is worth it in itself. I think it's a MUST try once for everyone.

Re: Boma's????

My family loves Boma's and try to go there every visit. My DH isn't always with us and missed it the first few times we went. When he finally got to go, he found the prime rib and made no less than 5 trips back for more. He would argue the point, but the girls and I are quite sure it was at least 5 trips if not more!! He said it was the best prime rib he had every had.
