I was wondering if planet hollywood and wolfgang punk take ADRs. But is there a list somewhere of restaurants that don't take them? I only remember seeing ESPN club not taking them. Thanks.

Planet hollywood does, but I am not sure about wolfgang. You should just call the WDW DINE and ask them...not positive.

Thanks all. Our plans from three weeks ago have changed completely. Our family trip was 9/26 - 10/6 with our DS joining us on 9/30. Now with free dining , DS is going down a friend on 9/22 and staying till 9/29. So will be together as a family for only three days. DS and his friend,Steve, have known each other since about second grade, so Steve is almost family too.
So anyway, trying to plans some meals for the boys, I know they will hit downtown disney and thought it would be good to find a place that takes ADRs.

Wolfgang Pucks does indeed take ADRs (both the upstairs and downstairs locations). Planet Hollywood does for lunch, but for most of dinner time is blocked off and becomes a walk-up location.

Rainforest Cafe at DTD does not, and the one at Animal Kingdom does except for the same day, when you would have to call the location.

ESPN Club and Big River Bar and Grill are both walk up locations.

Bistro de Paris only takes ADRs 30 days in advance.

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head! Hope it helps!

I've been told that you can make reservations with Big River directly, and I know that Shula's reservations must be made through Shula's, while todd english's bluezoo is bookable through Disney. Wolfgang Puck's is indeed available through WDW DINE.

Big River Grille takes 24 hour ADR's and you have to call them direct. Disney will not make the ADR.

Why don't you pick up the Birnbaum's WDW Dining Guide for 2007. It has everything in it and tells you which restaurants take ADR's and which don't. In the book, PH does not take ADR's. We go there on every trip and just walk right in with no problem. Now that is for a late lunch on a Sat. though.

Thanks again for the info. Right now the plan on friday is for the family spending the morning at MK and then splitting after lunch. We will be having lunch at CP on thur and they have a ressie for LLT for lunch on monday, so I think that is plenty of MK time for them. I made a ADR for the boys at concourse steak house at 6:30 but I'm thinking they will be at some other park and will have to travel back for the ADR. So I'm trying to line up something else.

Yes, now they do!!! I have an ADR planned there for August!!!!

Nope...that's just a walk up. And the waits there get LONG!!!!! But the food is great! Don't waste a TS credit on it, however. You can have a great meal for a VERY reasonable cost!!!!!

I agree. The price of one oversized item is cheaper than if everyone was having their own!

Thanks Kim. We are planning on hitting this on the day we arrive. I think we will go over a little before the "normal" dinner time and maybe we will get lucky. I have to be honest, I only chose this because the ice cream sounds so good. Glad to know the food is good too!!
