Le Cellier: lunch or dinner?

I am *trying* to avoid using 2 TS credits in the same day, but with spending a full un-park-hoppered day at Epcot of all places, it is sooooooooo hard.

We've decided on Le Cellier. Question is, should we go there for lunch or dinner?

And what CS in Epcot do you recommend for our other meal?

Re: Le Cellier: lunch or dinner?

I would go for Dinner

Counter services that I enjoy at Epcot are the Mexican cantina , The tangerine cafe ( at morocco ) Lotus bloom cafe ( china ) I also like Englands but with the Dining plan I dont think you will get the bang for your buck .

Re: Le Cellier: lunch or dinner?

I would go for dinner to get the best bang for your buck if you are on the DDP. Im not to sure of CS as we are not really Epcot all day people. I do expect to try on the next visit. Tey looking at Deb's Unofficial Walt Disney World Vacation Information Guide - WDW Planning Guide - Walt Disney World to check out the menus and see what you would like for a CS

Re: Le Cellier: lunch or dinner?

Dinner!

There are SO many good Counter Services in Epcot as well..the new food court place in The Land is good..we only have a snack there once but we really like it. There is also the Electric Umbrella for the "generic" Disney food (chicken fingers, burgers etc..)
In the countries my favorites are Harry Ramsden's Fish and Chips..(If you like Fish..it's a little lacking if you don't ) Cantina de San Angel..I like the "Wet Burrito" and Dave really likes the Nachos..and you get a Churro with the dining plan..and my favorite is Tangerine Cafe in Morocco. I really love the Chicken Sawarma Platter..it comes with thin sliced chicken and onions is some sauce, the most wonderful hummus IN the world and some parsley thingy that I never eat..it's a littler different..but it is delicious!

DINNER. They have a better, more extensive menu! And if you plan to get Filet Mignon, DO NOT MISS their signature dish Le Cellier Mushroom Filet. It is the BEST meal I've EVER eaten!!!!!! NOT KIDDING!!!!!

Re: Le Cellier: lunch or dinner?

I vote Dinner as well! We ate there last September for Dinner and loved it!! For counter service, we have really liked Cantina de San Angel, The Land and The Electric Umbrella. For a snack, I would try Kringla Bakeri og Kafe in Norway.

Re: Le Cellier: lunch or dinner?

I would have the Mexican platter at Cantina for an early lunch (skip breakfast so you're really hungry!) and then go to LeCellier for dinner. We LOVE Cantina!

I had a delicious steak salad at LeCellier for lunch in February, though... so even if you go there at lunch, it will still be one of the best meals you can get at WDW!

Re: Le Cellier: lunch or dinner?

Definitely go for dinner! For lunch a great CS that we absolutely love is the new food court in The Land Pavillion. The food there is kind of light and healthy which would be perfect since you will be eatting a heavy meal for dinner at Le Cellier. Here are the menu selections at the food court in The Land Pavillion...Sunshine Seasons Menu - Land Pavilion - Epcot.

Re: Le Cellier: lunch or dinner?

Whenever I go somewhere for lunch and eat a huge meal I always get sleepy afterwards.......I just thought I should add that.
