LeCellier lunch/dinner ??

ok so we cant get an actual dinner ressie for Le Cellier on Sept 7th but we can get a lunch at 2:50 and Im expecting to have to wait because of the free dining. Is it possible that we would have to wait till 4 and we can order from the dinner menu? Lunch ends at 3 and dinner starts at 4- my other option is to have to go on Sat when there are no extra hours and eat at 8:50 during the fireworks.

What do you think? (where is Tessa when we need her!)

Re: LeCellier lunch/dinner ??

If you have an ADR, I'd be surprised if you have to wait an hour - even during free dining. I could be wrong, but it would surprise me.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I'd at least ask when you are seated, assuming it's after 3:00, if you can order from the dinner menu.

We've taken that late ADR before also (after eating a late lunch that day) and it was nice, too. Either way, you're getting to eat there!!!

Re: LeCellier lunch/dinner ??

I know that last year they ended up opening other locations to eat because there was nowhere left for people to go- Im assuming that if the only time that was left was 2:50 and we have a long way to go before we go- well all those reservations will more than likely show up. I just dont know how they will handle all the people and those that are seated closer to dinner time. I know that we had long waits this past Feb and we had adr's for all our meals. I can only imagine what this will be like.

If it's THAT busy because of Free Dining, there is a possibility that you might have to wait an hour! I went in December and we waited almost an hour to be seated...WITH AN ADR! I went last October and we had to wait almost an hour with an ADR, too. But it is SOOOO worth it that I never seem to care!!!

Re: LeCellier lunch/dinner ??

that was what I was thinking- If I have to wait close to an hour then I want to order from the dinner menu- I dont know if they will have some note saying "they are only ressied for lunch" lol- that would be my luck right?

Re: LeCellier lunch/dinner ??

Now I'm nervous - we have ADRs with the free dining plan for LeCellier and I was able to get 8:40 PM reservations so that the 3 of us could sit together - otherwise we'd have our own tables - go figure that one - but if it's a possibility of having to wait an hour even with ADRs, is it smart to stick with late rezzies and how long does the mono run after the park closes?

That late of a ressie might not have THAT bad of a wait. Since the park "officially" closes at 9pm!

Yea, I am thinking the same thing. I think the later the adr, the better off. We have had adrs at Le Cellier twice, and both times have waited close to an hour. But the adrs were at peak dinner hours.

Hm..I don't think you'd have to wait an hour for a 2:50 ADR...If you were going at 7..I'd say yes..you'll probably have to wait awhile...but in the afternoon I am not so sure.

You have a point! But during Free Dining, ya never know. Especially if all the dinner ADRs are gone already!

Re: LeCellier lunch/dinner ??

We have a lunch ressie too...2:40...but I decided it may be a positive thing after all! The lunch and dinner menus don't seem to be THAT different, and by the time we are done eating, a lot of people will probably be headed in to dinner so maybe the park crowds will thin a little!

I am definitely erring on the side of "glass half full" this trip...I think waiting 4 years between trips is what did it to me! Everything is rose-colored because I'm going to WDW!
