More ADR's

So far I have gotten all of my ADR's for the times I wanted. I am hoping this is a good sign as far as crowds go **fingers crossed**. Anyway I just made 2 more -- House of Blues for dinner Wed. night (if we don"t stay at Sea World) and The Plaza on Thurs. night.
I just have a breakfast on Wed. open that I don't know if I will fill or just grab something from the PC food court.

Doesn't it feel good to have your plans in place? I love doing the planning, but it sure is nice to have it done, too!

I hope you like the Plaza. My boys really enjoyed it there, and I remember they had really good sandwiches!

Re: More ADR's

I'm guessing I'm part of the reason you're going to House of Blues. You should enjoy it, and you will enjoy it much more than Planet Hollywood. You might even have live entertainment during your meal.

You helped push me toward it. I do love the other 2 that I've eaten at. I enjoy Cajun food and adore blues music so I hope that I hear something live.

Re: More ADR's

Many nights they have singles, duos and possibly as big as quartets play sets in the dining room. If you've eaten at two other HoBs, I didn't push you towards anything. But the DTD HoB has been consistant over the years.

Doesn't it feel good to have all the plans in place. You should just leave that last meal open and pick something on the fly that day. Your plans sound great. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on house of blues.

Re: More ADR's

This is nuts! I've never thought about planning this far out in my life, not in anything but the most abstract of terms. The only things I'm worried about are getting le Cellier and Chef Mickey's before I downgrade from concierge to standard, now that it's available. I'm also considering just leaving things as they are. Not that I'm close to anything looking like a plan.

Yes, I have eaten at HOB before. However I never remember that DTD has one. So you bringing to my attention made me very happy. Thanks!

It feels so good to have plans in place. I am actually freaking out a little that I have one meal where I have no plans. I am sure in the long run it will be fine, but I am not a spontaneous person at all. I am also a bit unnerved that I had to throw this trip together in a shorter period of time than I usually have. I have a feeling that something huge is being forgotten!
I keep going over my checklist...hotel, park & plane tickets, ADR's, arrival gift for DD, spending money...all taken care of. What am I forgetting????

Dana has a GREAT packing list you should take advantage of!!!

I agree, it feels GREAT to have all your plans in place. And I never make ADRs for breakfast for the most part...it's usually just gran and go, unless I book a character meal every so often. This trip, on our last day before we drive home, we are doing Chef Mickey's for breakfast. That should totally fill is up and we won't have to stop for a while!

If I were making a checklist I'd definitely add:

- Camera w/ spare battery & memory card
- Double check that you brought your ATM/Credit Cards (also I'd call your credit card company before your trip and just give them the heads up that you will be vacationing in Disney World. This way they don't think someone has stolen your card and is using it far from your typical buying area. I would hate to have a credit card declined when you try to pay for a meal. That could get pretty stressful!)
- Sunglasses and sunscreen
- iPod (incase you lay out by the pool)
- Any chargers for the electronics. Nothing worse than bringing the cell phone but forgetting the charger that's plugged in at home!

Have a great time (though I'm sure you didn't need me to tell you that =P)

Thanks for your list and this one I would have forgotten for sure!! I better write this on my list of things NOT to forget.

If my credit card companies didn't see charges from WDW and Orlando in general, that's when they'd worry.

but these two are different because I actually have to drive NORTH to WDW.

I went on vacation once and forgot the charger and spare batteries for my still camera. I wound up shooting stills with my camcorder rather than buy disposible AA batteries. I've also had my batteries die and not have spares at the worst of times.
