Blue Zoo?

Has anyone dined at Blue Zoo lately? How was it?

I dined there January 2nd. I thought it was fabulous. I suppose the food wasn't anything really, really exceptional, but the atmosphere made it taste wonderful. It might've just been because I was in my cute little trapeze dress with patent slingback pumps...

My parents enjoyed themselves, though. It didn't really feel so Disney as it felt Vegas (except no annoying casino sounds, which is always a plus). Depends on what you're looking for, I suppose. If it's that high-class, celebrity-type dining, then you're headed to the right place. But if you're looking for the whole "Disney experience" with hidden Mickeys and a theme park view, then you might opt for California Grill, instead.

I have never eaten there, but it sounds yummy. Todd English is a very well known chef, I would imagine he would run a tight kitchen. If you eat there, you need to let us know how it is.

It's good, though I didn't like the shrimp topping on my block of fish. That is, I personally didn't care for the recipe itself. But that's minor. If you can, sit withing sight of the kitchen, which is partly onstage, or at the sushi bar.

Do they book up as quickly as some of the other restaurants that are on the dining plan?

No and they aren't on the dining plan. Nothing at the Swan and Dolphin are, including Palio and Shula's Steakhouse.

Palio's is long gone. The new restaurant there is Il Mulino
