Hoop De Doo questions!

SO now that I know picky Emilie has other options at Hoop I'm definetly adding that to the list for next year. So my questions are these:
1) Would that be a fun place to celebrate Emilie's 8th birthday?

2) Is the category 1 seating worth the extra $$?

Thanks!

DEFINITELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just asked my 8 year old!! AND she said that would be the coolest birthday ever!!!!!

I paid the extra, I love being up front!! There is no bad seat, but upfront is still best!

Yes! I think it would be a great birthday treat!!!!!

I have sat in several locations at Hoop Dee Do...not a bad seat in the place...but....the front seats are def. worth the extra money!

Re: Hoop De Doo questions!

Tell them it's her birthday and maybe she will be picked to do the final skit in the end . . . there was two smaller kids when I was there in July and it was so cute! During the show they ask if it's anyones birthday and they sing to everyone there. We had Cat 2 seating on the DDP and we were in the back on the high bar stool tables which were good seats . . . from the stage that made us about 10 tables back. It def a FUN time and you end up singing "Hoop Dee Do, Hoop Dee Do" all night!

Re: Hoop De Doo questions!

It is definitely worth it! We had front and center last time we were there...actually 2nd table from the stage in the center to be exact. We saw everything up front and personal. What a great birthday suprise!

Re: Hoop De Doo questions!

YES and YES!!

We celebrated my son's 8th birthday at HDD last year and it was perfect. They spotlight all the people celebrating something during the first part of the show. Nothing too much, just a bit of special attention.

Re: Hoop De Doo questions!

We did HDD several years ago, before they started the tiered seating prices. We must have been one of the first to book, because we were right in front of the stage!! My kids were called up at the end and got to "play with the band". We have really cute pics of that!!
WDW is a great place to spend a birthday. My son had his 8th birthday at WDW.We had breakfast at Chef Mickey's and, guess what? My son has the same birthday as Mickey Mouse!! They both had on their "It's my birthday" buttons!!

Re: Hoop De Doo questions!

I just saw a really great photo of the hall and the seating where HDD is on a TR roday. Check out the view...there really isn't a bad seat in the place!

Re: Hoop De Doo questions!

I have done HDDR several times. Up front is great but there really isn't a bad seat in the house. We have been way in the back on the main floor and also on the balcony and could see real well. The performers go throughout the crowd and even up into the balcony so no one is left out.

Re: Hoop De Doo questions!

No doubt. We just LOVE The Hoop-De-Doo, they will announce your birthday or event, and everybody claps and sings. Great place to go.
