Which Fish n' Chips is better: Rose & Crown in EPCOT, or Raglan Road at DTD?

Would like everyone's opinion as to which one is better and why. Not interested in "the ambiance is better here," but what makes one better than the other purely from a taste, texture, smell persepctive.

Gee?? Can't speak exactly to the Fish & Chips but in general I prefered the food at RR over R&C. Just felt it was a cut above overall. The RR menu lists standard "simple" dishes but prepared with a special flare. The Shepards Pie was awesome, I loved the Salmon, will try the Sole or Haddock next time.

We're skipping R&C for RR.

Although we didn't try RR this trip- we didnt enjoy the ones from R&C (the Yorkshire place) and as a Yorkshire girl and an English girl I know my fish and chips ! we will try R&R next time.

Haven't had Raglan's, because of poor reviews here on DC and elsewhere. But R&C's are delicious. Of course, I like fish & chips anywhere, so I may not be much of an aficionado!

We've had the ones at Rose & Crown and we liked them. Haven't gone to RR yet but we may need to check it out this August.

I thought the fish and chips at R&C were wonderful. I enjoyed every bite.

I went to Raglan Rd, but I didn't go there for fish and chips. The menu is much more upscale than that.

I'd rate the R&C fish and chips as average. It was good, but is battered cod supposed to be a stand out dish? I don't plan to try RR, so I'm no good for comparison. If this is the kind of thing you're interested in, you could probably do worse than R&C.

We've tried both - I'd have to go with the Rose & Crown, although neither are the best I've eaten. I prefer halibut as fish of choice. I think they use cod.

I've had it at Raglan Road and it was very good. I haven't tried it at Rose & Crown yet.

OMG, I've eaten them at R&C and RR one time but can't remember. We were partying hard both times I ordered the Fish and Chips. I do remember I was very upset that they gave such a small portion of fish at RR during the late night, scaled down menu and cost around $17. So, I would never order them at RR again.

I don't have an answer, it is funny but everytime I go by it in Epcot I want to try it but I have either already eaten lunch or we are off to dinner soon, but in Nov I will have to try both!

well, we have never eaten at Raglan Road as yet but I am going to hazard a guess that they are better there. We ate at the Rose and Crown and had the Harry Ramsdens Fish n Chips there but let me tell you...they tasted NOTHING like the fish n chips we actually get here in the UK. They were not good. Real, Authentic Harry Ramsdens fish n chips are unsurpassable! We were very disappointed. Go for RR, IMO. I bet they are miles better.
