Need some meal planning help!

Okay I'm just plain stuck on deciding between 4 different dining experiences for our next trip. I can't decided if I want to do one of the following:
Mickey's Backyard BBQ
Hoop-de-do
O'hana
Lua (okay my mind went completely blank for spelling here) :o

Or if I could one show and one dinner which would you choose?

I voted Poly Lua (I can't spell either). I've never been but I have heard great things and it just sounds like fun. I would definately like to try it some day.

I've done both, and I have to say that I really enjoyed the Hoop-dee-doo MUCH more than the Luau. We were a little disappointed in the food at the Luau - just not as great as we thought it would be. But both the food and show at the HDD were great!!! So much so that we're doing it again this year. Plus, if you're traveling with kids, I really think they'd prefer the HDD over the Luau (just my opinion) ;)

I can't say I've heard anything - good or bad - about Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

Good luck!

We have never done hoop-dee-do but plan to next year .. we have done the laua ..both the Mickey and Minnie ( I think they discontinued it though ) and the regular one and loved them both.
We love O'hana's too. Would love to try Mickey's BBQ too.

We have only been to Ohana's and LOVED it. and the Luau (not that bad) I dont know much about the others, other than what I have read about. I would love to try the Hoop-dee-do though on my next trip.
I have to go with Ohana's on this one. :D

We did the Luau in 1998 and it was OK. It would have been better if it had not rained. The food was good for the adults but the children were not impressed.

We did the Luau last year and it was good. They have changed it this year, and it just reopened not to long ago. We are doing it again and are doing the backyard BBQ. Will post how it was when we get back.:) :) :)

I voted for Ohana's because it is my favorite at WDW! But, I also loved Mickey's BBQ! We went in Oct. 2001 and loved it. Watching my DD stand on DH's feet dancing a slow dance... soo sweet! Mickey & Goofy were great dancing with DD too. It isn't so much a show as it is a big party. Live music and corny jokes, county line dancing lessons, buffet style food. Lots of fun but outdoors. We got lucky and had perfect weather but even if it rained it is a huge pavillion so rain wouldn't have spoiled the fun. I haven't done the luau. I've been to a real one in Hawaii and didn't want to spoil that memory... but I've heard it is great!

I voted for 'Ohana. I just love that grilled shrimp! We are also trying Mickey's Backyard BBQ this summer for the first time. Since I haven't been to the BBQ and couldn't pick 'Ohana and the BBQ I had to go with 'Ohana. I don't think you will be disappointed with any of these but we love 'Ohana.
