My amazing boyfriend surprised me yesterday with reservations for Thanksgiving dinner at Artist Point since neither of us are able to go home for the holidays (we both work at the Poly concierge desk). I have never been to the restaurant before or had a holiday meal at WDW before.

Has anyone ever dined here for Thanksgiving and what did you think? Or has anyone ever had one of the other Thanksgiving meals at WDW?

A) Do you have a new boyfriend?

B) We'll be dining at Liberty Tree AND 1900 Park Faire on Thankgiving Day so if you need a family to be with you are more than welcome. Just a warning, the inlaws are a little loopy but VERY friendly and loving. They'll accept you with open arms.

I am almost 100% positive that most, if not all, of WDW's table service restuarants have a "special" menu for Thanksgiving.

C) Yes, I am scheduled to work until 8pm that night, but I am trying to convince the bf (or someone else) to trade shifts with me since he only works until 4:30. I will let you know what happens.

I know, and I wanted to see a sampling of the menu because I am so excited about it. AllEars only had the prices listed that I could find. I will have the check the dining reservation system when I go back to work tomorrow to see if the menu is listed there.

I've only eaten once at Artist's Point and we loved it! I'm sure Thanksgiving there would be terrific!

Ginger... we ate at Artist Point recently, and we ordered a bottle of wine (we wanted to try one of the Northwest wineries), and we only drank about havlf of it. I mean, we had the kids with us and all that jazz...

So our CM server told us that we could take it! She wrapped it up and put it in a brown bag, and we took it out with us. We had the rest the next day for lunch at the hotel room.

I know it is not the policy of most restaurants at WDW to do that, so it was an especially nice treat!
